Even if Rodgers didn’t get injured last year, at the bare minimum the Jets would’ve had their succession plan if they went for Lance

Facts. I would rather Jerry let Dak walk and give Lance a shot. He can't do worse in the playoffs than Dak has done. And if he has a bad season, Dallas gets a high draft pick in the 1st round. Let's face it, with only 2 playoff wins and not even being able to make it past the divisional round, Dak is NOT worth $60 million a year

I think the Jets should’ve made a move for him at the time. That would’ve been a perfect situation for the team because at that point Zach Wilson wasn’t going to work out and Lance could’ve taken over as backup and they would’ve had possibly a salvageable season in case the worst would’ve happened like Aaron Rodgers getting injured or underperforming. Even if Rodgers didn’t get injured last year, at the bare minimum the Jets would’ve had their succession plan if they went for Lance
