My Biggest Homestead Regrets: Repairing the Damage I Caused

- In today's video, Wranglerstar takes on the challenge of repairing damage caused by years of driving equipment across his homestead field. This activity has created grooves in the land, disrupting its ability to flood irrigate properly. The water now follows these grooves, making it difficult to evenly distribute and keep the field watered and green all summer. Will Wranglerstar succeed in restoring the field's natural irrigation? Watch as he attempts to repair the damage, ensure even water flow, and bring new life to the land. Join us on this journey of redemption, growth, and transformation. Don't miss out on the lessons learned and the hard work put into making things right.

I love the piano pieces! God Bless you, your family and everyone watching.
Thank you so much!
I agree. They went well with the visuals.
Totally! Feels serene, like you're there and primes the mind for the concluding sermon, like reaching the destination in a journey.
I think Cody may be keeping something from us. Pretty sure that's him playing and it sounds great!
HAD A ROUGH DAY. Watching the water flow over the soil to piano was very comforting. The last message about love from the father to call us back really helped . I was meant to see this today! Bless you and thanks!
You taught me to wear a black belt with black shoes. A brown belt with brown shoes. What color belt with bare feet?😂Love watching your videos. Always something new. Keep it up.
If you’re wearing bare feet, you can wear any color belt you like,
These videos lately are just amazing. So simple. So pure. So impactful. Wranglerstar turned me to Christ a little over a year ago. God bless.
Amen glad to hear it! God bless.continue to spread the Gospel
In the mountain Lassen ( mineral)wilderness range I have a friend that I work for. When he toured me on the different Meadows around his property. We drove in his four-wheel-drive Toyota Tacoma with tall narrow tires. He actually use the truck to reroute the water. He always chose a different route which would allow different Meadows to receive the water from the upper head gates. But he actually did it on purpose and did not create hand dug canals. It was all done with the truck. I found it to be amazing how easy he could cut the water into different directions.
Thank you for the ending words of encouragement, Cody. So many are in need of those right now and feel lost with no community around them save for those they find online... and many have found each other through your channel.
Seeing the field watering is always such a simple, elegant, and effective method to water a large field... it's almost like watching dynamic art in nature.
You are so welcome
Working with the old-fashioned flood irrigation looks to be very rewarding. I grew up on my great grandfather's farm (he died before I was born) and I heard stories about how he worked. He used used water in a hose to level a footing of concrete or stone, and water in a trench to achieve the correct amount of fall.
Another fantastic video. I love it when you end videos like this. Rising tide raises all ships. We must stand together.
Two cold starts in one? What a treat! Good morning gentlemen, pursue Christ above all today!
The quality of these videos are amazing. The editing, the music, the advice, fantastic all around. Thank you for this channel.
Heck yeah! Love all of these out door videos. I have a 5 acre homestead I bought last year in north Idaho and I’m getting it ready for fire season and doing a lot of delayed maintenance. Just purchased a cat 259d3 for a screaming deal. We’ve been blessed in life and have been able to afford this life quite young.. I’ve been watching since I was 15😊 God bless.
That you ford he faith reinforcement. I was watching you with your bare feet in the cold water, with the beautiful back drop, and thinking, how wonderful! How alive it must feel! Have a blessed day Cody.
I have noticed this, If I spend the day working in the field with bare feet, I am overcome with a intense satisfaction and sense of well being,
The second I go barefoot on my property, raspberry and blackberry vines mysteriously appear underfoot
A beautiful view of the mountains and great nature. Greetings from Poland.
Glad you enjoyed it
I have been sitting at the Kings feet these last few weeks. Listening to His Word. Letting it devide soul, spirit, bone, and marrow. You are right in saying those things, Cody. We mere men with our finite minds and wicked hearts bring God down a few knotches and raise ourselves a few knotches so we feel right with HIm. He is Holy and Righteous! Those truths about Him should cause pause and reverence. A Holy and Righteous GOD would not be good if He allowed evil to continue. He will judge and condemn evil because He is Good and Set apart!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Jeremiah 9:23-24 is a verse for this nation at this time. I enjoy your sense of humor. Always have. Enjoy the channel.
Looks pretty breezy there, that toupe glue is amazing.
I'd recommend that a culvert be used if your going to drive over that frequently.
Thanks for your videos.
-Mike
Thank you for the words at the end. They were helpful.
Goodness that mountain is beautiful
Hey Cody, wanting to pick up a good set of hand tools for working the land. What do you suggest for a shovel, rake, hoe, etc.? Thank you in advance!
I"ll make a video for you on my top 3,
@@wranglerstar Thank you sir. I have fire tools, but they’re not exactly great for everyday work around the property.
Blessings to you and the family!

These water videos are very special Cody. Thank you for your ministry. :)
For the past 6-7 years of been a subscriber I have learnt so much which has helped me around my smallholding, but even more than that you helped me discover my lost faith in god. Keep getting after it Cody you’re a great man
Wow, thank you!
Thanks, Cody. Great reminder that has been needed. Always getting an ear full from my youtube dad!
Cody your words of encouragement are always appreciated, thank you, and may God bless you and yours as well
Thank you Cody, and God Bless you and the family.
thank you. CAT is awesome. good thinking on the water diversion. Love the last part. Needed that.
Wrangler star is the best TH-camr. The eye contact to the camera gave the thought to me that we are all family under God and we all know what’s going on as fellow country men. even if we’ve never met each other. Thanks and onward Christian soldiers
Thank you for the reminder. I appreciate you brother.
Thanks for the advice, it always helps.
Great video... thanks for the words of encouragement
Thanks for these words at the end of the video...i needed to hear that at thos time in my life...
Thank you Cody. I needed to hear that.
God bless you and your family.. my family and love watching your work 😊
Flood irrigation is never stagnant and there is always things to change and do differently. Fun to watch you do it.
I needed your words of encouragement to remind myself to appreciate the contaminants being stripped away 🙏
Really enjoyed the instrumental piano - it was peaceful and centered. THank you.
The videos have been blessing us recently, keep up the good work
Beautifully produced 👌🇬🇧
Thank you for your words of encouragement. I needed it.
You are so welcome
What a majestic magnificent view you have to Fuji!
I needed that ending today. Thanks Cody🖤
Thank you for encouraging words about tough times. This life may be our only opportunity in all of eternity to live out God's principles in an environment that is not paradise. Cheers.
Thank You the same to You and Yours Sir🙏✝️🇿🇦
Great relaxing video! And a great message at the end as well. Thank you…I needed that reminder
I've been watching a couple years at least. I feel in your ending speech saying that taking your advice is not helpful is a humble sentence on your part. I do know you to your youtube degree, but having so many viewers it's impossible to know all of us. The depressing part that comes to reflection is the time we commit to content creators for entertainment has left a lot of us with mixed feelings. The absence of face to face community in real life has definitely taken it's toll on society. Thanks for the content you do share though! -A previous West Coast Man
Your videos have been excellent recently Cody, thank you. Just keep doing what you want. It's inspiring
I appreciate that!
God is blessing me in my endeavor's. As he appears to be blessing yours. Thanks for the words of encouragement!!!
Thanks for the encouragement! I believe what you are building here is somewhat like a rolling dip. Im no expert, but you may look into that as it seems like a good method to help with erosion control and not need as much of a bump to hinder traffic on the "road"
Another great one sir. God bless you and your family and all your subs.
Isn’t it funny how others will point out if you are not perfect at everything you do but hate when someone calls them out for not knowing everything also. Just let people learn and grow! It’s messy and fun and full of mistakes but that is what living is! Stop trying to always attack people for doing something wrong, heck at least they are doing! Learning! Living !!
Gosh golly brother your edits and music are FAN-TASTIC. Keep up the great videos; we're praying for you and your family.
Well said Cody,God Bless You And Your Family.
Piano bit was a nice touch. Nicely done.
Always love the classical music touch 👌 ❤
A man may ‘know’ what he wants - but not truly want what he wants. I think you both know your dream and have succeeded in being able to live it.
Cat diesels help the environment… couldn’t agree more! “Go forth and have dominion over the earth”
Great ending message Cody, awesome video as always
I enjoy this new version of you. It reminds me of your original videos.
Great work Cody! You should weld a hitch to a bit of narrow guage railway to use as a grading tool for the excavator, my dad had something like that when he had excavators, great for draging behind the 4wd too.
Thank you for the video.
Love any words of incouragement💪
Great video thanks
Top 10 of your cinematic story telling features. Loved that boom shot on the excavator and your ending encouragement. Well done.
Amen Brother 🙏 ❤ Yet Another Excellent Video Brother! God Bless You and your family my friend.
9:02 the anime music 😂. Goodness gracious beloved.
God bless you and your family
That is a powerful sentiment.
May the Lord be with those who are hurting

It is only through the fire that we are forged & our souls are worth more than gold and silver refined in the furnace/fire 7 times.
Christ suffered, was marred beyond human recognition died & was raised to bring us all the Redemption.
With him being our model how can we not expect to go through any less.
No student is greater than his master. If the world rejected Him how much more would it do us?
God Bless Cody

Cheers for the real reel Wrangler.
Thanks for the lovely hat float 😂 just beautiful.
Beautiful
Thank you
The tyre tracks don't just compress the soil, they force up a ridge between the tracks and, to a lesser extent, on either side as well. That's what's causing your water to divert.
You need to knock down the height of those ridges that are running across the path that you want your water to take to get to the field.
Im a big fan, I remember at your old place when you tossed few fencing staples on the ground and I'll admit it bothered me a bit, now i see the bare feet hoping that someone else didnt do the same to this property. Those gates are something to be proud of.
Nice clip, Cody!
Your videos are so relaxing and inspiring 👍💪
Glad you like them!
Lovely video Cody.
Such an important message at the end from my Brother in Christ. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for everything you do and the message you help spread.
You are so welcome
Exquisite work as always, ProHo
A heavy timber platform at each head gate would allow water to flow through and equipment to pass over those low areas. Seems like a very Wranglerstar type of project.
I love your view!
😂" Grading Log"!😂 Reminds me of my "Grading Beam"! 12' long 10" tall structural I-beam i attached to the bottom of the forks of our off road forklift! Right angle and it was better than a little boxblade.
Thanks for those words at the end.
Great video, love the shot of your hat on the water, you’re a talented filmmaker!
Wise words to live by!
"Cling to God, and subscribe" all time great quote 😂
what an incredible view
I love you cody ! I dont know how to reli to the word of god, but when i lissening to you, it all come clear. Thank you !
Sometimes torquing the screw too much is just as bad as not tightening it. Maybe a primitive road to prevent this problem (logs and fill) if you plan on driving there, or just letting it be the farm it wants to be.
Cody's speech at the end reminded me of the Demon Hunter song, "Trying Times." Give it a listen. The song really gets me pumped, and reminds me of how God is molding me as a man.
Possibly if you put some larger washed aggregate material that the water will make its way through for a path for the cart and machines you may be able continue to traverse that area without causing this problem in the future. Just a thought not sure what available in that region but possibly a #5 or larger septic stone.
Amen ! Brother Amen !
If you have any more issues out of it you may add a culvert to get the water past your path. That should last a lifetime.
Ps your equipment is nice and not over the top it’s actually about as small as you can get away with and be efficient. Keep on keeping on!
That little creek is pretty awesome
5:00 - 5:30 - great edit, video/music combo.
Culture is up to us. We are the culture. What we choose to do, or refrain from doing, is the culture.
If we want the culture to change for the better, then we all have to start changing our own individual actions to reflect that culture we wish to see in the world.
So, going forward, what will you do to prevent that from happening again? Maybe short culvert just where you drive? Love the videos! Never miss one
I like how clean your ditches are,how do you keep them that way?
Come for the dirt work, stay for the message 🙂
Great editing
