Thanks for watching Blake Week - he took 3 days off from work to fly up from warm South Texas and create archery content in the middle of winter! Blake is a really great guy, amazing bowhunter/archer and knows his stuff. The Outdoor Group is lucky to have him and we hope you enjoyed the 4 episodes! Cheers! -Dan
Or else ill take my happy southwestern Colorado ass up to Washington and you’ll find out what its like to kiss a man with a beard. Against your will of course.
I shot the Vipertrick through my largest elk to date... and two seasons later shot another 6point with the SS3 at 54 yards with a full pass through. The Revival is a Solid Broadhead, which I have also used to shoot a whitetail way back when the Solid head was still in pre-production and I talked the rep into letting me shoot one on a hunt I was going on directly from the ATA show. All of these rank high in my personal selection of fixed blade heads.
Agree, would be nice to know if any of the heads were damaged significantly, and if the arrows held up, too. The new one that looks like an Iron Will came thru with flying colors! That’s a contender…
Not surprised at all. Back when Old Hoot Owl, ArcheryTalk name, owned them they were all I shot. Shotgun slug holes from a broadhead was a very accurate statement for the Magnums
I feel like you guys left everyone hanging with not showing the results of each broadhead tested. Blake is a very knowledgeable guy, thanks for bringing him to Spokane Dan
Hey Dan, Finally. you're testing the broadhead that I consider the best head on the market. Once I found slick tricks, I've never looked back. If you haven't shot them, you're missing out. The elk I shot in 2023 and 2024 were shot with the same head, all I did was resharpen the same blades. Shot through the shoulder of the 2023 bull and exited the other side. The blades are easy to resharpen to a razors edge I shoot 59 lbs. Slick tricks are ALL steel,, that's why I switched. PLEASE check them out
I'm having just as much trouble deciding what broadheads to use this year as figuring out what new bow to get 😂. Finally going to get away from montecs, want something sharper out of the box
A whole shop around them to possibly find some scrap sheet metal laying around and they went right for a truck tailgate. It would have only been better if Blake had a rental and they took it off that. Haha. But that’s what we are here for.
I don’t think there is a “one”. So many good choices out there. But the mindset I keep going back to is. Are fixed blade heads dead? Sevr,Beast, G5, and a few other mechanicals are awsome. More forgiving in flight, titanium parts, tougher than ever, bigger cut diameter.
I hope these new ones are stronger than the last ones I bought. The SS model, i sold 8 new packs for $20 a pack. Quality had gone way down hill, nowhere as good as the old Slick Trick.
Dan...just have Blake and the ODG make you an ElkShape Edition broadhead. Tell Blake I'll gift him a new suspension lift for his Tundra if he can get that done. JK. I don't have that kind of $$$ 🤣
Slick Trick ferules are HARD, had one go into concrete, yes, I did, it penetrated enough to hold the arrow in it!! Amazing durability and toughness. Also, you'll get more dramatic results with a Ford tail gate !! HAHA
You should check out Kutch Archery over here in yamhill county, oregon. Hands down probably the best outdoor course available. I think you guys would love it
Dan or anyone know what brand of hoodie Blake is wearing? Looks like old predator camo but I cant find anything like it. For the love of God help a guy out. I’ll be eternally grateful
Dear Slick Trick - Please use a better steel for the SS3. Fantastic head but the 416ss just doesn't pass the test as a blade. A 416 steel is strong - but doesn't hold edge integrity or sharpness well.
If you want the toughest broadhead I have ever seen tested, you need to think cheap name. WASP. I killed my first deer with a Wasp over 40 years ago. There is a video of a guy tested all current popular broadheads and the Wasp Drone shot into a solid steel plate. All of the other heads broke easily, but that Wasp Drone buried into the target. They removed it and not one part of it was broken. It is a smaller, NORMAL sized head, but it is the toughest head you will ever find. Go find the video and see for yourself, the. Add it to your tests so other have another option, other than what all the guys with the TV shows are using. Just saying.

Finally....a good use for a dodge😂

Awesome! Loved blake week!
So close to 100k! That’s awesome! Contents great man!
Bruh! My buddy has been looking for that exact tailgate. I'm showing him this. 😂
I feel like you guys left everyone hanging with not showing the results of each broadhead tested.
Blake is a very knowledgeable guy, thanks for bringing him to Spokane Dan
About time they found something useful for the dodge truck.
😂
Awesome videos coming out all week long
Well now I’m researching the SS3 more. Thanks! Lol
He missed the metal on the other side of the tailgate lol
Thanks for the content guys!

The revival looks pretty sweet! I’m thinking the SS3 needs a sharper blade angle it’s two flat.
thank You! ive been wishing for ST reviews
He said they never had a double bevel before. I thought all of the regular standard slick tricks and all that were a double bevel?
More tailgate videos please!!!
I'm having just as much trouble deciding what broadheads to use this year as figuring out what new bow to get 😂. Finally going to get away from montecs, want something sharper out of the box
What’s vibrating on your bow Dan?!? Very cool video…👊🏻
I started shooting the 100gr magnum from Slick Trick last year and they are awesome!!
Definitely wanna try some more of their heads.
What kind of release was Blake shooting? Looks very interesting!

That HEX release blake is shooting looks great even for an experienced hinge shooter

How did the wicked trick and revival fly at distance past 40 yards?
Holy smokes dude you're so close to 100k!
I hope these new ones are stronger than the last ones I bought.

Quality had gone way down hill, nowhere as good as the old Slick Trick.
So Dan which slick trick broadheads are you going to be testing this year after this?
That was cool to see what those did to the metal
Thank you Dan do you like the grim reaper broadheads. Thank you for sharing this great test information
God's Blessings
Took my first deer with the ss3, wish they made it in 125 grains.
Slick tricks are underrated. They just work. Plus they’re affordable

You couldn't pay me enough to shoot in weather like that

What release was he using with 2 fingers?
Im extremely interested in the slick trick revival. But i cant find it? Why is that?
Do you ever worry about foc in you arrows I'm not sure if it's that important but I don't have that much knowledge
Nice. Thanks ,looking for new broad heads. Great Demonstration
Don't pick a head because someone shot it through a tailgate bro. That's not a test lol
What hoodie is Blake wearing?
What jacket are you wearing Dan?
Dan or anyone know what brand of hoodie Blake is wearing? Looks like old predator camo but I cant find anything like it. For the love of God help a guy out. I’ll be eternally grateful
Great week
So which one you going to use.
Dan you should test out a g5 dead meat on some turkey possibly bear let me know what your thoughts are.
