Dread Mode - 100% speedrun in

One hundread percent. Insane run, one single hit in Dread mode takes you back to the last checkpoint. This speedrun is No Major Glitches, collecting 100% standard items in the hardest difficulty (Dread mode). Some silly mistakes here and there, with a clutch Frozen Artaria and a guest appearance from the Spin Jump warrior. Acoustic guitar is my own recording.

1:35:46 that one and the one in burenia against the 2 golden chozo soldiers are probably the most hards fights in dread mode, its took me like 25 tries between that 2 fights

Escue at 1:32:10 but you have screw attack and can shinespark into him with it to kill in a few seconds

Screw Attack will kill you in Dread mode unfortunately since you take damage while using it on the X parasite, there's lots of small things like that to take into account.

@@Grubdog no, having screw attack allows the shinespark to work in dread mode. If you don't have screw attack, you can't shinespark and it's a longer (thus harder) fight where you need to dodge longer to avoid getting one-hit.

This is a very nice run. My first Dread run i died 775 times...lol. (But i 100% it) Mainly because i did not do the boss mode fights first and the EMMI are always challenging for me. Lately i have been just doing hard mode and trying to not get hit and getting my completion time down.

Hi, probably not, this was a long time ago. There's much more recent strats that you might see in my runs in other categories (the recent 0% run) but I've moved on to other things.
