T-rex doesn't want to be fed. He wants to hunt. Can't just suppress 65 million years of gut instinct.
As Alan Grant once said.
Which is really silly when you think about it. Predators *never* pass up a free meal unless something about it makes them suspicious, and they easily can become dependent on them. The other part is that there's still a lot of supposition that T. rex was primarily a scavenger, not really a hunter. It's instinct would be to go find fresh kills to steal!
But the Jurassic Park dinosaurs were artificial creations to begin with, so who knows what Rexy had going through her head. All that being said, most big carnivores have prey drives, and running away from one is absolutely going to trigger it. He was dead the moment he ran for it.

@@Cmajor1988 Spielberg butchered the original vision imo, as much as i love the first movie, he watered it down for kids and teenagers.

Yeah, it would make for better movies, but probably less successful. Today Jurassic Park movies are almost a family experience. You can sell it to anyone. That's what inevitably must happen to make franchises big. If you want to sell it to women and kids you've got to take the edges off. And by doing that you'll lose your initial fan base.

@Jon Jurassic world a is the only one that still feels like Jurassic part. Same with Fallen Kingdom. It ain't perfect but better them Dominion. Like what happened there?
This is something closer to what you would find in the books.
Well, his mission was to feed the T-Rex. Mission accomplished.
Nowhere did the instructions say with WHAT he was supposed to feed the T-Rex after all...
This was rather impressive. Actually got chills when Rexy was just observing the guy. Always thought JP should learn more into behavior like that for the Dino’s more. This was great!
It is impressive, but I actually liked better that the filmmakers didn't have the dinosaurs just kill everyone in sight. It showed these amazing creatures weren't monsters, just animals trying to make their way in a world unfamiliar to their kind.
To be fair they probably would kill a human in this case, it would be like mice having a cat in a cage and then proceeding to enter the cage with some cat food in their hands. Ofcourse the cat wouldny kindly take the cat food and leave the mice unhamred, it would want to chase and kill that mice for its entertainment also.@@queenesther09
I know the roars are cinematic, but they are so fucking overused. I'm tired of it. It would be so much more terrifying if the Rex just made those low rumbling noises.
This two minutes and thirty-five seconds was better than the whole of Dominion lol.

I love the atmosphere and use of shadow and light, really well executed. And it actually helps to create a backstory for why, by the first film, park workers were using an automated system to deliver food into the pen from below (similar to Muldoon's comment about the raptors attacking the fences).
Man i really want another Jurassic Park movie exactly like this, with more horror elements than ever before

To me the roar at 1:47 could be a "Alright humon, I'm here!" waiting patiently for the free meal on the ground but turning his back away only sealed his fate as he was seen being food instead. Top predators are to be shown respect not fear otherwise you're dead. These Jurassic Park Horror videos are great👍

No, and while I do love the indominous Rex, the pure fear and tension the real dinosaurs can put into you is insane.

Me personally...I would've ran as soon as I saw the lightning, and by the time the gate opened I would've been started the car and dipped 🤣💀
But overall, this was a great! This is the kind of thrill, suspense, and behavior you see in Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park novels
Always fascinated me how they were always keen on eating the boniest tiniest morsels of meat 🍖 compared to bigger meat on other herbivores. At best, I think the carnivores of JP would be curious about humans and sniff them but mostly ignore them unless they inflicted trauma upon them..
It'd be like a human going after a chicken nugget instead of a steak or chicken breast.
To be fair, hunting said herbivores always carried the risk of injury, especially if it was Ankylosaurus or Triceratops, so Rexy really can't be picky on what she eats. That said, I do agree that they probably wouldn't necessarily see us as food, with proper socialization of course.

Firstly, creatures as big as rexie would always eat smaller, easier prey first, even if it doesn't deliver a fortnight's worth of meat.
Secondly, nuggies are the best, no wonder she enjoys the little snacks.

This is really well done!
Thing is, whether more like birds or reptiles, the modern cousins actually show that if a person spends a lot of the creatures life with them, the creature is LESS likely to attack or harm them. If they are closer to birds that reptiles, this would be further likely. So basically Blue from "World" would actually be accurate to an extent. Birds will even develop mannerisms and sound not found in the wild if they bonded with a human and will do thing to impress that human. Some actually die if their favorite human is not around long enough.
The nostalgia here is like a pre-rendered PS1 cutscene that sets you up for the next mission.

@@gergopiroska5749 Yeah I know, but the JP T-Rexes were hybrid cloned animals and the frog/amphibian DNA used in them is what gave them the mistaken attribute of movement location by eyesight.
