  • After building the jeep for a year this is how how i have come.
I have ran into a lot of setbacks and struggles building it, but little by little the jeep has been upgraded.
I have a lot in store for the jeep this year, hopefully a front bumper and a winch soon!

I just got 32/11.5r15 KO2s for my 98ZJ on the same lift, had to order front upper control arms though, they've yet to come in.

sweet man! I'm slowly building mine up. About to go from 31's to 33's here shortly and waiting for my winch plate to come in. Winch is sitting in garage. I have a couple vids up.

      That's awesome man,
I cant wait to get a winch on my jeep,
And It seems I'm doing the opposite, I'm going to be going from 33's to a set of 31's for the summer.

Sweet. Yeah I finally found pretty much my ideal ZJ, although it doesn't have the factory tow package which would have not only given me the hitch and trailer wiring but that package also includes 3.73:1 axle gearing and pretty sure limited slip is a standard part of the tow package as well..
But at least this is the one that I will finally put the 3" budget lift and the extended shocks that I have had sitting brand new for the last couple of ZJ's I've owned.. can't wait to finally get another one set up exactly how I want!

Lmao, yeah not my best work.
Im a tad bit nervous while filming if ya couldn't tell, trying to get better at that. Geting more organized on what i need to talk about in the video, so im spending less time stumbling on what to say next. Honestly thats a huge improvement when compared to my older vids lol. Ill be making a new build update this winter, sould be alot better than that.

The Failure with your Coolant Sensor on the VIC is an bad solder in the VIC, you have to take your VIC out and resolder the joints from the plug between the 2 Circuit Boards in there.

Luckily I haven't had any issues with the ASD yet.

Yeah I have never had any problems with the auto shutdown, and that's with 5 or 6 ZJ's of every motor and from '95 to '98 models..
I did think I was having the ASD Messing up but I think it wound up being the Crank Position Sensor crapping out when it got hot, and it wouldn't let the motor start back up till it cooled off for a few hours. What a pain changing that on a 4.0 liter!!

    Why not 35’s? I’m on a 4 in lift with 35’s

    • @cegadventures2492

Id love to go 35s, but i wont be able to flex as much as id like without the tire in the fender ripping the tires apart. And the lack of power to push the bigger size. Im going to be getting a new set of tires hopefully this winter. Im debating on BFG KM3 or mickey MTZ P3. Either way, ill be deciding on 33s or 35s. Im only hesitant on the 35s because of my gears. Its a hole other project for regearing to 4.88s
But of everything goes to plan, i should be looking at a 7inch lift and 35s with new gears and lockers in the near future.

Yeah as much as I love hitting the trails and 4-wheeling I just have no desire to go that big with tires, aside from the fact that things really start breaking and horrible gas mileage, I feel like it takes away from being a good daily driver too much for me, but hey to each their own. This is still America, for now anyway..
