Question: Has the "wash away wonder tape" ever caused your sewing machine needle to become sticky from the adhesive when you are sew the zipper in place. How do you keep this problem from occurring? Do you use a particular needle? Or a teflon foot?
Hi, just asking you casually, that you could have taken exact length of the zipper know? You have cutvfrom that long zipper to the needed length and remains of the zipper after cutting is unfairly waste know? :
Word of warning, I made a lovely make-up bag with cork fabric on the lower half. I always wash my bags when I've made them and when I took it out of the machine, all the cork had turned into crumbs and flaked right off. All that was left was some vinyl. Such a shame. It was nice to sew with, but the glue dissolves in water so don't use for anything like a toilet bag or make-up bag that needs washing regularly for hygiene.

Just wipe off your needle with a little alcohol when it gets sticky

gillian bc Cork fabric isn’t meant to be washed. Recommended cleaning is to wipe with a damp cloth.
