  • This video contains basics of group theory with complete 3D animations. The Group theory was simplified for beginners to crack the NET Chemistry exam. The Group theory will be super easy if you see the entire video.
    This animation are master piece and great service from The University of Liverpool. They are doing true service to chemistry. I don't take credit for it and they have copyright. Every chemist should see and learn from website (believe me, it is very detailed). They are my inspiration for teaching with technology. If you want see all chemistry in 3D animations in original form, please see the website www.chemtube3d...

      Thanks for the question Heas. As for as I know it does not have d plane. And the point group is c2v. I hope it was useful.

      @@onechemistry Thanks for the reply.
      I was talking about trans isomer which was given on right side which was given as D4h even with sigma d axis, not the cis isomer with C2v point group.
      Plz do reply

    • @nehagharat5577
      @nehagharat5577 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@heasms2290Refer the table given at 10:55. As per that, there should be 'n' number of sigma d for Dnd. In the struture mentioned by you, there are only 2 sigma d planes, not 4 sigma d. It also has sigma h present. So the point group is D4h.
