Tony, i am a student in America studying accounting and your videos have SAVED me. Know that the work you put into them is highly appreciated. So happy you are still uploading. Many thanks for all you have done to help us. Edit: i got an A- in financial accounting, thank you Tony 🙌🏻
Mr. Bell I have watched you Financial Accounting video with the complete series, now I am watching this. I want to express how grateful I am to have found your channel and to have access to your knowledge and guidance. Thank you so much Mr. Bell, truly the best Prof I have had even from my university.
I have an exam tomorrow about management accounting, this video made me learn some concepts that I didn't understand very well before. Thank you for teaching this well!
I am studying for my final exam and got to a point I was feeling overwhelmed with the different budgeting schedules. However, you taking a moment at the start of exercise 8-3A to stress the importance to "logic your way through" the schedules rather than trying to memorize them, made me look at it from a different perspective and helped me understand them better. Seriously, you are a godsend and I am really glad I came across your channel. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Never memorize. Always put in the effort to understand. That has been the biggest lesson of my life. It is ALWAYS worth it, regardless the context: School, work, religion, etc.
I have my Accounting exam in 3 days, I hope this guide is gonna prepare me enough for passing. This is an incredible Accounting Course with everything that a student needs, compared to other cheap "learning lectures or problems". I often find the courses on youtube made by proffesors like you way superior to the ones provided by academic "materials" , thus I really appreciate the work put in. Thank you !
I really appreciate you having this available. My professor's lectures are so dry and boring that I've replaced them with yours and have been doing well and understand the material way better. Your subscribers and view count really shows there is a demand for better quality teaching on this subject!
First time I've went to this recent of a video of yours... But i truly appreciate you Tony! In my second year of university and still watch all your vids for clarity in my accounting classes. You're a phenomenal teacher
I started this ten hour video before my managerial accounting course and it helped me so much. Still working through the video and nice to see the subscriber count grow in that time
I love you! I failed managerial accounting four times because its in swedish and the prefosser who dont teach well and lpng questions on the exam 16 long questions in whuch i have eye disease that i cannot reqe long texts for long period of time so i see blurry. Also 85% failed his class. U made me understood it. I hope i will pass. I finished my degree and I have only this course left
This is such an amazing video and was explained thoroughly. You are a great prof :) I always come back to this video whenever I need a refresher in managerial accounting. I am currently preparing for my CFE which is next week and this is a great way for me to brush over my concepts when I am not in a mood to write a 5hr case. Thanks for this video!
Hello Tony i have finished your videos of financial accounting last semester and I’m glad to get an a in my test!!So in this new semester I keep going on with your videos! Thanks a lot!❤❤
Wow you are one of the best teachers i have encountered. I really love your channel & i wish i had you as a teacher instead of profs i have they don’t give a damn 😢
You are such a wonderful teacher ! Thank you for your videos ! They are so helpful! & I love that you are Canadian too !! 😊 Do you have a course on Canadian Intermediate Accounting too ?
Omg! I’m so happy that you posted a video.. I always watch your videos , and every once in a while I come to see if you have posted something and finally you did it 🥳 I’m Happy you are back! Love you so much! ❤️ a thank you for all your help 🙏🏽
im a week away from finals and im finally understanding MA thanks to you!! really really thankful for your video it helped me grasp the concepts better and you even made MA fun (hated it because it was torturous...) thanks tony!!
Hi Tony. I have watched your 2 long videos (10 hrs) on Accounting and have enjoyed them. You explain the subject well and make it interesting. I am a horticulturalist who likes bookkeeping and watched the videos out of interest. Keep up the great work. Cheers, Tom (from Australia).
Hello Tony Bell and everybody here. I would like to say that your videos are really helping me a lot. I'm a new accounting student and I don't have any background knowledge. I did Biology, Chem and Geo in Highschool. So, I'm kinda scared. I don't know if I will pull this off. Do you think people can excel in Accounting and Finance without have prior knowledge of this program in previous years of schooling?
Hi Tony. I have a question. On section F, how are the costs of one thousand through twenty-three hundred calculated? I became lost on this section. Please help me to understand further this concept.
I am going to do an MBA, but before that I want to get the basics right for accounts and finance so that I don't fall behind in my class. I hope I sail through all subjects during my MBA.
Perhaps a silly question, but I'd appreciate your perspective. I'm considering becoming a Certified Management Accountant and I wonder if the CMA is significantly more advanced than the content in this video? I have an accounting background and currently work in M&A. I've done pretty well on some random sample questions and practice exams and I pick up the content in this video quick. I'm just trying to gauge if it seems like I'd do well on the CMA exam of if this is anecdotal hubris.
I've not done a CMA myself, but based on reputation, I'd say it's significantly higher level than this. Students should expect to do intermediate and advanced level management accounting courses as well as presentations and technical writing (I expect) - so this is equivalent to the first step in a longer journey!
Might be a silly question, but is this video useful if you’re studying AAT Level 3 management accounting costing? I’m really struggling with this exam!
Prof Tony Bell, thanks again for helping us with this course! Quick question: as part of my Managerial Accounting course (Comm 305 @ Concordia University in Montreal), we have to cover incremental analysis. Is this contained within your instruction as well? Perhaps under a different title? Thanks!
Absolutely - search my name and "Job order costing". or my name and "Process Costing" or "Activity Based Costing". All managerial accounting costing vids.
im doing business accounting and finance in my first year now in the uk, and we been told to put in prime cost after direct labour because DM + DL = PRIME cost, but does it not being used in practice in real life or why is it that you did not include it?
I totally agree with what you've been taught: DM + DL = Prime Cost, DL + MOH = Conversion Cost, DM+DL+MOH = Product Cost So no issues there - I do discuss prime cost briefly in my first or second lecture...
@@Tony-Bell thank you for answering, I seen all lectures from 1-7 so far, I was just wondering if it’s not necessary to name it prime cost in the statement of cost of goods, in the real life practice, is this something we are though just so we understand the setup of the statement of goods sold and income statement, or is it used in general statements ? Since you didn’t put it in the one video, I understand that it adds up anyways, but I’m just wondering if that’s like a + in the book😄 I’m not sure what lecture I’m referring to, but it’s the one where you talk about statement of cost of goods sold, and the income statement, as well as the statement of goods made. And also thank you so much for your videoes I have learned almost everything your videoes, some in the depths and some in smaller areas, but your videos are really helpful, getting another persons wordings on it helps a lot! Thank you

Never thought someone could put the occasional smile on my face when studying Management Accounting, but Tony did it, thank you!
This video has done more for me in 10 hours than an entire semester in my accounting class has, thank you tony
You're an amazing teacher, i have always watched your videos right before my exams and it helped me a lot, thank you
