I had a electrician teacher teach me the trade like it was rocket science and then I TH-camd it and it was like primary school stuff haha

In 1994, I took an accounting class and got the big 4.0. Now, 30 years later, I started my own company, so I needed a refresher. This was really clear. It will help me a lot with quickbooks, on the theory side. Subscribing!

I loved this method of making a video, instead of just bringing theory you combine theory and practice, it was worth watching this video than taking a class at my university

Let me add to all of the kudos here. GAWD, this lesson and format is sooooo useful. It's simply the nature of the beast that half of it is learning the names of and what the accounts are for and the other half is learning by rote -- and that's where this bootcamp shines. This is exactly what I needed -- explanations DURING practice. Great format; I can pause and work it out in my head before hearing your explanation. Absolutely outstanding, sir!
Thank you so much! Long story short, due to the job market, I decided to complete my Master's in Accounting this fall semester (2023). Although I have a non-accounting graduate degree, I needed to brush up on my accounting skills. I found your videos by chance and they have been extremely helpful. I feel I have a sturdy understanding of journal entries and the debits and credits. I'm definitely subscribing to your boot camp program!
journal entries have probably been the reason I consistently made mistakes on my fundamentals of accountancy subject leading me to get a bad grade in senior high school. Now that I'm taking Accountancy as my college course this video has helped me a lot in understanding my mistakes thank you very much.

I’m taking a class online and the only time I actually do scenarios is when it’s for a graded assignment. I get many tries but I feel like I’m guessing not understanding. THIS helped so much because yes I get the basics but going through the real aspects helps engrain it better repetition is king!! Thank you!! Keep these boot camps up!!!

If I would have had an instructor like you when I first started trying to learn how to be a bookkeeper 7 years ago 😅, I'm pretty sure I'd have my own LLC by now. I was recently laid off and I truly believe God led me to you to sort out the confusion in my brain once and for all and hopefully get me a step closer to my goal to become a bookkeeper. You've unlocked a new level of clarity in my brain and Ive gotten no less than a 95% on all your amazing worksheets. Hell yeah it's working 💪🏻 i got every question correct prior to your answers due to your previous vids. This boot camp forces me to think and do it myself with the fishing rod(techniques and lessons) first that you gave me in the last vids before you feed me with an extra fish(answer and recap explanations).

Excellent explaining I've done bookkeeping for 23 years on qb desk to I recently left a company, so want to do bookkeeping remotely. And just testing my knowledge I've only done a few journal entries closing equity access at year end so I'm pleased so far I've done all correct 🎉 love the way you word every thing.

I've done 20 entries so far, the first 10 were all wrong, the last 10 I've done right.. I don't think I would've ever understood this concept without this video. Thankful is an understatement. I can't express how useful it has been, please do make more! You are AMAZING! Also, english is my second language so my Accountancy Masters here in the US has been a huge challenge, you're videos are so so so much clearer than any other material I've seen.
I've struggled with this since starting my Masters (not an accounting background), my lecturer told me to go and read, and figure it out. This has helped my understanding immensely. Thank you. The little notes on the side will definitely be added to my exam paper.

You ask if this is the type of video you should post... Tony, look..... I have a BS in Accounting that I received in 2015. I have not put my degree to use as of yet. YOU, with what you provide in this video, have done something life changing for me. I have worked in manufacturing my entire adult life.... 35 years as an operator, 5 years as a supervisor, and Bookkeeping was a dream that I had. When I had the opportunity to go to college in 2011 I chose accounting because I had a part-time background with Quickbooks. But YOU, with this video, caused the sky to open up and light to shine on Journal Entries........ I will be forever grateful for this......... I was Treasurer of a small non-profit for 14 years, and everything was done in Quickbooks. I had an understanding of Journal Entries, but when you rely on QB to do everything, you have a limited understanding. I did just what you said, I paused the video and worked through each entry, then watched you provide the solution, and 99% of the time I had the answer..... YOU have given me confidence! I can't thank you enough. PLEASE do more boot camp videos!!

Hi Professor, thanks for the videos, accounting was a big confusion for me right from school, instead of looking at accounting from a business/ company point of view, I used to look at it from my point of view and used to mess up journal entries and pretty much do the opposite. Although I scored 80% with memorizing concepts in accounting, you actually made understand from a company point of view, especially Debits and Credit, thanks bunch.
Finally, after so many struggles, I understand what are and how to use JE-s. Huuuuge thank you for your work!!!
