Honestly sir, Thank you so much for uploading all these incredible lectures, I have been struggling a lot in my intro to financial accounts class until I found your channel. As a complete newbie to FA class, I looked for hundreds of different FA videos in youtube which I understood none, but I started to understand some of the concepts in FA after watching your videos. You elaborate and explain so well with the perfect examples, and again, Thank you professor Tony for the efforts you've put in to make this great videos. All the respect. - Young

Thank you so much. I’m in corporate finance and just moved into a new role where I manage a team that posts journal entries. In my past roles, I never had to think about JEs because it was the responsibility of accounting. Not having a strong grasp of JEs has made me very uneasy over the past few months. This video has cleared up so many things that I couldn’t even articulate into a coherent question. I’m going to go through your entire course, but I want to tell you that this video alone has been so helpful I’m nearly in tears.

for those who are wondering, Credre "Cr" means "to entrust" (Credit), and Debere "Dr" means "to owe" (Debit), they come from the Latin past participles of debitum and creditum

Interesting, but I am so confused on this topic, I really didn't need to know that. After his video, I didn't learn anything about JE. I already did know that in accounting in general things have to balance out. I would like to see a simple, concise explanation, not a history lesson. The examples didn't help me either. I should add, I am not a accounting student or work in this field during the week, I am just trying to handle how to record a credit on my credit card (for a CC refund). I would love to see just one example of how to handle that scenario!

The way you explained and wrote A=L+SE made it click finally. I was trying to remember how each type of entry was entered instead of thinking about how they were relative to A, L, SE. Thank you so much!

time repeats itself Mr. Tony I have never ever forgot when I first saw this DR CR table it was my door to accounting and I'm an accountant for almost 7 years because of you and the crazies thing about it that I have never ever studied accounting in school. I learned alone with your videos in TH-cam and I thank you all the time for the easy way you teach accounting.

I graduated with my Bachelor's in Accounting 5 years ago and haven't used my education at all in my career. I decided to pursue my MSA degree, which started 2 weeks ago. Last night, I was ready to throw my hands in the air kicking, screaming, crying, and wanted to call the whole thing quits (extreme, I know) because I was struggling with Intermediate Accounting (which I took as an undergrad). I realized that my challenges were because I forgot some of the basics (mostly journal entries). I woke up this morning and somehow found your video series and workbook. I don't leave comments often, but I had to for this because I am so incredibly thankful that I found your series. I'm going to continue watching the full set and practicing with the workbook, but I feel a million times better already. Thank you so much for putting in the time to create this. You've officially changed the trajectory of my MSA journey.
