Best hitch - bumper pulling hitch - GEN-Y torsion flex - BOSS hitch - new model has a downgrade

Unbox and specs of new gen-y boss torsion flex hitch. This specific one is the 16k towing capacity with a 7.5 inch drop. it is installed on a 2022 Ram 2500.

Best detailed review I seen on the Boss..
Others have told me the 16k was 2-1/2 Shank and receives not the 2" that you stated in your videos.
Will have to call customer service before I buy and end up not happy.

Apparently, we are or must be related. This is the kind of video I would record, and upload. Thank you. Not sure what your name is, but here is some info for your amusement. I haven't even bought my 3/4 ton yet, and I am shopping for hitches for our FUTURE camper. We have a tow vehicle already, as well as a camper, but we are upgrading both here shortly - and this is what I obsess about. Measurements, as well as more measurements and customer experiences. After all, it's not cheap these days. Thank you for this! BTW - our purchase of our 3/4 ton is imminent, - upgraded camper not so much - so this video certainly helped. Thanks again -

Thanks Al, very glad Incan help. Lol and yes, I too am very picky about measurements. Couldn’t find a video out there specific enough. That hitch has been great. Only thing is it extends back enough to the point where you may need longer chains to reach from your trailer to the rings on your hitch.

Hi, if you where to flip it over and have the 5th receiver pointing up… does this affect you with the tail gate of your truck when opening it?

With the ball, yes. Not sure if the torsión flex is meant to be used that way though

Yes a gen y hitch can run either way up

I've had my torsion boss 21k, and it looks like new. It has a nice powder coat on it.
