And she’s got basically everything in terms of difficulty: big releases (a Downie and a LO Jaeger that’s actually done in layout shape), inbars, and complex pirouettes (a Healy, a Ling, AND an inbar full). And she’s got so many hard connections too! That inbar full into the Downie is incredible, and the Healy + Ling + LO Jaeger is like the second coming of He Kexin.
The scores she received previously were also deserved. Perform flawless routines and you’ll get a great score. She’s been known NOT TO. This however was excellent.
Great job, I was a bit surprised that she won over Nemour but now watching the routine more carefully, her execution is amazing besides the step on the landing, so she really deserves her gold. Nemour will be back for more next year :)
That layout Jager is CRAZY. Her pirouettes are DIRECTLY on top of the bar. Beautiful work. I would love to see her take the back bend out of her pak but wow she has beautiful execution.
They weren’t. her execution was better yes she had the step on the dismount but overall hers was better plus she still can connect downie to pack to get a 6.9 yes I love Kaylia but she needs to fix her execution if qiu didn’t have a step on her dismount she would have had about a 8.6 execution.
Kaylia Nemour broke an important connection unfortunately-her Nemour to Pak-and that cost her two tenths in difficulty, which made the difference. Not the FIG’s fault that the audience doesn’t know bars code. Plus, Qiu Qiyuan’s routine is also insanely difficult and better executed at this time.
The audience was maybe partly french and kayla is partly french but the difficulty score of the Chinese girl was the same and the execution to my mind way better.
@@asharadayne6159 May not know COP but are the ones FIG sell tickets for. They better be more concerned about gym fans from now on worldwide and the code should reward originality instead of robotic routines that are built to take advantage of the COP, otherwise the sport will become less relevant each year
I'm not trying to belittle the athlete, she is great, but I don't like this composition. It seems like a big Frankesntein of the CoP, putting together averything that gets CV
If she somehow connects the Downie to the Pak and the Pak to the Van Leeuwen by next year, she’ll be unstoppable. So far, she’s got: Healy (E) + Ling (E) + LO Jaeger (F), 0.3 CV Inbar 1/1 (E) + Downie (F), 0.2 CV Pak (D) Van Leeuwen (E) FTDT Dismount (D) Top 8: F, F, E, E, E, E, D, D = 4 CR: 2 CV: 0.5 Dismount bonus: 0.2 And that gives her a 6.7. If she connected the Downie to Pak in addition to all of this, she’ll get two extra tenths of CV, and if she connects the Pak to the Van Leeuwen, that’s one more tenth. Basically, she could have a 7.0 D, though this routine is already so well executed and challenging, I don’t know if she needs to do anymore.
@@bradylangston3257I wonder if they had her break up some connections because of what happened to her in event finals in Doha. I remember that she fell trying to connect her Pak to VL in the event finals at the Asian Championships too, so maybe it’s just not the risk for her when she already has a big D score and great execution.
The Downie Pak she has trained and it seems to be the most valuable connection she needs to add. The Pak to VL doesn't seem realistic or valuable enough to go for since it only adds 0.1, and China seems to have forgotten how to coach connections out of Paks. An interesting thing is that she has an Inbar Piked Tkatchev that she used to compete which would slot in after the downie for an additional 0.2, but 3 F releases is insane and 6.9 is more than enough difficulty.
She really deserved gold. She has it all. Difficulty, execution, and amazing control 🔥
Handstands and lines from heaven itself. So few areas to deduct from despite such a difficult routine

@@asharadayne6159and she can connect inbar full + downie + pac for a 6.9!!
Yes but remember Podkopayeva with the release grip on the high bar my God it was like a pirouette midair
Finally, the scores she deserves 👏
The scores she received previously were also deserved. Perform flawless routines and you’ll get a great score. She’s been known NOT TO. This however was excellent.
She was under pressure.. but she nailed it! congrats!
I see they still haven't told the announcer how to pronounce her name
omg yea he got it so wrong ☠️
All that pressure on 16 year old shoulders and she still nailed it 🎉
Hope China medal on BB tomorrow
Também espero, torço muito pela China
Well deserved gold 👏🥇
Yay finally the intended difficulty
princess qiu😍😍
iconic legendary handstands omg
Her bars improvement is actually insane. If you look at her routines in 2021 it’s like night and day.
Little gold girl

Man they really butchered the pronunciation of her name lmao. Congrats on the gold though
Not the easiest name to be pronounced
Im curious, how should it be pronounced?

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 the chokehold China has on uneven bars this quad
Que série espetacular 😃👏
This angle really does expose just how much better her handstands are than everyone else
GOD that was beautiful. Her vs Nemour in Paris is going to be a battle for the ages.
This is a work of art
Those pirouettes are a thing of beauty. Very much like He Kexin ❤

What's the inbar full deduction? Is that a 0.3?
What's wild is that she still has room to possibly train connecting to the pak and maybe even the van leeuwen

I love that she does not start on the low bar like all gymnasts nowadays.
I love her ❤
Un exercițiu foarte bun, dar, parca cel al Kaylei a fost mai bun.
I do not like this cheering going on every team and I'm surprised that it's allowed to continue.
Why the f*ck would cheering not be allowed...What is wrong with you?

Lots of pirouettes and one brief visit to the low bar. Hmmm….
Neymour should have won. She was kinda hooped by going so early.
Meh this was NOT deserve of Gold. nope yawn
The audience was lost when they realized this routine scored higher than Nemour’s
Shame on FIG to let this kind of distortion happen
