Exactly! This how I like it. Besides being full of clickbait for quick views like most channels. I do my best to fill mine with useful information that anyone could apply to their everyday lives at anytime. Doesn't matter if I made it today or 3 years ago, it's still valid information. I'll either delete or delete and remake any videos that's no longer valid.
Hi DP! I’m setting up a new Firestik & I’m trying to get the Cinema app from your link on the Downloader. When I click the cinema pic… it says there’s an error and to check the URL. ? Can you help me♥️♥️ Thanks DP
This video is for Android Auto users. Android Auto is in a lot of newer cars where we connect our phones to the car using USB to display and control the Android Auto apps. So with the method in this video, Android Auto users will connect to the car the way they normally do (USB or wireless Android Auto that works through a device we can pay extra for).
Mine Neither it's not even allowing me to give permission for it to have access. It tells me that because of my privacy, it will not allow me to do it.@@jamesrenaud9218
We have to add the folder (whichever folder your media is in) within the Fermata Auto app first. I show how to do this at 5:15. If we try to use it without doing this step we'll normally see nothing.
Unfortunately after Android 14, this method doesn't seem to be working. I've tried this on my s10 and it worked FLAWLESSLY 💪🏾. My s21 however isnt compatible. 😢
This has been an issue that came up on newer phones with the Android 14 and beyond system or phones that has been updated to Android 14 and beyond. So far the only possible fix that I know of is using a wireless Android Auto adapter (they're becoming cheaper) and/or turning on the unknown sources option within the Android Auto app. The steps to turn this option on is below if needed. - Go to settings. - Connected devices. - Find Android auto. - On the Android Auto screen just scroll down to the bottom where the About section is shown. - Click on "Version & Permissions" 10 times to enable Android Auto developer settings. - Then go to the top right and click on 3 dots. - Click on "Developer settings" - Scroll down to “Unknown settings’’. - Put a checkmark on the setting and restart your Android device.
Thank you for sharing. It seems to be a safety feature that was added that blocks 3rd party Android Auto apps. But this will still work on older phones and tablets.
Maybe because you need to keep your eyes on the road instead of watching movies while you drive? Tech is dangerous in this instance... especially with the semi trucks.
Yeah this is mostly like 3rd service apps like these aren't compatible with the latest phones. But anyone with an older phone, hopefully they're smart and only use things like this while not driving.
I downloaded the purple fermata from the playstore. It pops up on android auto, but doesn't work as it's supposed to....amd how do I Uninstal this shit lol.
Please follow along with me from the 5:42 - 6:21 time marks in this video. I go over two important details that helps with finding the Fermata app. Since Fermata and AAAD are third party apps I highly doubt anything on Google Play is connected to it. With the apps in this video, we can uninstall them normally by pressing and holding the app icon if needed.
Same thing happened to me at first too. Just try again later. When I tried again it was about an hour later. If we just unplug it then plug it right back in shortly after the results will be the same.
This channel is like a hidden gem!!!!

If you're still having this issue send me a direct message on Facebook and we'll figure it out. My account there is under DownloadingPirate as well.
@@dpirate … thank you, I appreciate you responding and trying to help, but I’m not on Facebook. Thanks anyways. ♥️
I went through your processes but when I got done I noticed only one app icon - the green one. I don't see the purple one

Any movie/tv show alternatives other than tea tv? Cinema hd hasnt been working since yesterday on my nvidia shield
OnStream works pretty good but it requires a good internet connection. It's on my website downloadingpirate.com if needed.
@DownloadingPirate Can you please share what happened to TeaTV anyways?
I see carstream but nothing streams on Android auto on vehicle but it does on phone
If you're still having this issue I explained it in details in this video at the 5:40 - 6:27 time marks.
...did I miss something...? How do you connect it to the car???

It is not appearing in my android auto apps

@@dpirate it should show you tube also?
Mine only shows 3 symbols on the bottom of the ferm auto on my car. It doesn't show all the symbols yours does.
If you’re on android 14 it won’t work I don’t think
It doesn't work on s24 ultra sadly
Does carstream and fermata update on their own or does it require us to do it manually?
They should prompt us to update on launch if there's an update available
what about plex so u can watch ur own server movies
I doubt that Plex would be compatible with this method

Seems like they made some safety updates in the latest phones.
@@dpirate😅😅😅😂😂😂😂
Have to get the aa wireless device and plug it in and connect that way,you csnt use android auto wirelessly
Do it work on 2024 vehicles?
Yes, but it comes down to the phone. In some newer phones it seems they removed the option to add 3rd party Android Auto apps.
The fermata app isn't in my app list on the car

How can I add the live TV on this?
Don't think any live TV apps would be compatible with Android Auto. Mostly for safety.
Anyone with android 14 can't use it though as per the site
