I really like the way you present these tutorials. I've learned a lot about the BS2 and Microfreak following your videos. I'd like to see more like this one. Cheers!

Love this illustration of the Bass station 2 !
My midi bass guitar works very good with this bass synth.
    Thanks for the editing tips.

Glad to be of help! As a bass player myself, I’d say that’s a great way of using the BS2!

Wow, this was interesting! Even though it's not my language and I'm not familiar with the vocabulary, this tutorial was a great watch and listen. Subscribed! Thanks, LeSynth.

I have a bass station 2 and I can’t make a patch to save my life. Coming over from bass guitar i don’t really understand synthesis. Thank you for this series my guy. It’s so helpful to somebody getting started.

Hey, so glad to be helpful! I also came to synthesis from bass guitar… more than 35 years ago!! 🤣
Just be patient, work on one part of the synth at a time, keep things simple at first. Also, watch one new synthesis lesson on TH-cam every day for a few months!

@@lesynthlofi I somehow spiral into a self oscillating hell scape every time haha. I’ll turn around and my dog and cat are staring at me like I’m summoning an elder god. I’m definitely going to try your advise when I get home later.

Very well-done video. I especially appreciated the focus on initial settings before beginning sound design.

      You’re very welcome! I had an MS2000 around 2011 - cool synth.

A tutorial from an actual synth virtuoso? Hell yes ❤

Nice video! It was fun to play along on my newly acquired SH-101 and to see how close I could get (alot were challenging or impossible!). Although I'm familiar with creating these sounds it was still a fun exercise.

Thanks for the compliments! Yes, it would be hard with an SH-101, with its single oscillator and envelope. Glad you had fun!

I’m about to go out on a tour so how do I get more Low end out of the bass station 2? Is that something that the sound technician have to do through the PA system?

    • @lesynthlofi
      @lesynthlofi  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

It’s got plenty of low end! That said, the PA system needs to have bass speakers/woofers. Speakers decide the bass!

      Jesus. Who “hired” you?
Suppose to go on “tour” and know nothing? Fuck!!!
Everyone has the internet. Yet, everyone acts like a knob/noob.
