I sold my Honda for that same reason. I bought Husqvarna but with Honda engine. Husqvarnas design just gives this mower 100% for those who want nice clean cut and visible lines.. Never seen another brand with the same quality cut on grass..
Enjoyed the educational video Kipp. Wish I could find the AWD Sears Craftsman with all steel deck like the one demonstrated but seems they all are made with plastic back/front sections based on their online website. Having owned Craftsman mowers for the last 40+ years, they are making it tough to be brand loyal and may have to jump ship and look at the Toro mowers.
Thanks for your time, funny thing is I just bought a Toro mower with some online points I earned from my employer, I agree with with everything thing you said, I’ve also noticed that “plastic case” is showing up everywhere and the AWD mower is no longer available on sears.com but I found a cookie cutter model on Walmart.com with a Honda engine I’ll put the link below. www.walmart.com/ip/Snapper-22-in-Honda-GCV-160cc-All-Wheel-Drive-Lawnmower/710938063
I have a 2018 awd snapper sp110 22" the deck is all metal except the two transmission there plastic i hate it including the plastic guard for the rear transmission the rear bag chute is plastic the cover for the front transmission the wheels the self propelled handle and the gas/engine cover i like it but the first few months of mowing i broke it because i ran something over and the object went trough the plastic guard for the rear transmission and when the object had hit the trans the cable wire that connected the object had hit the peace broke off so we called snapper and ask them about the trans and the cost it was the same price when we got the mower 400$ im now using my 2013 yard man push mower we used to have a 1989 weed eater it burned oil like crasy and burned gas like an old car
I really wanted to get the Craftsman. But each time the machine needed service, it was a nightmare. I also ran through Drive wheels at least 3 a year. I have a VERY difficult lawn with lots of hills etc. It had electric start but the battery contacts rusted after just one season. And the Deck was Bendy noodle. So much that the Blade dug in the dirt. After that, it was time for a New Mower. I went and got a Husquvarna AWD mower. LC221 same as the LOWES one (Almost) Oh boy... At first is was amazing. It was the BEST mower I had used.to this point. It could do anything. After the first season? No so great. I love the way it works. The best part is all metal gears on wheels. That is where all the problems started. You seek these comsumer mowers are just not made to last much beyond the first year if you are mowing every few days and you got the hills, the grass banks etc. Replcing wheels and axles and pulleys are yearly items. If you don't replace ALL ofitin one swoop? Things further down the line break. The amount of wear that happens just to drive wheels and axles is amazing really. Basiclly? These AWD mowers are best to be purchased new every year. Its the only cost effective option.
I’m out of town a lot and when I get back the grass is high and thick, my old 700 has no problem. I’m thinking I need the 196cc because of this. What do you think?
Yep you’re spot on thanks for sharing. I thought you we’re talking about the AWD craftsman. Looks like I’ll be investigating cub cadet a little closer, I’m not too familiar with their products

My dude! thanks for watching.
The thing of it is.... that all came from a place called Chi-nah

Nice review bud! Keep up the good work! 👍
My craftsman lawn mower with the Briggs and Stratton engine stop working but I cleaned the carburetor and it started at one pull
Wow thanks for posting this video I have been debating between both of these mowers. Great review and very well informative

I'll take the Honda every day of the week. I'm not saying the Craftsman is bad, it's not. It's just not as good as Honda. To each there own I guess.
The new Honda’s look sick! I’m debating buying one. I sold the “4WD” craftsman mower since this video posted.
Had the 700 platinum and it was awesome until the motor blew apart ( never had that happen) but I’m getting the craftsman 4wd this time. Great mower
Nope, I'll stick to my honda hrx217
Nice music I love this music

I call them disposable mowers LOL. I’m working on a video this weekend comparing my TORO and my new Honda please stay tuned and thanks for sharing.
Nothing wrong with having an extra lawnmower. I like having a backup up if something breaks.
My mistake was selling 2 lawnmowers out of 3 and now I regret selling 2 good mowers. Sometimes we tend to make poor decisions. Shit happens
And I’m over here with about a foot tall worth of grass. Tired of having to clean my carb all the time.
You should try installing an in line fuel filter and using fuel stabilizer if you haven’t already
The complaint for the Honda is essentially, that it did too good of a job.
I know I sound like a Karen, thanks for watching.
Great video by a great guy! Love you Kippy!!
does the honda machine still work? Spoiled? Thanks
Nice!

You will have no problem with the 196cc plus last I checked the AWD (163cc Briggs) is no longer available
Cub cadets product cub cadet frame just black lol
Which one? I think the AWD is a Husqvarna clone but I’m not sure. Thanks for watching
Cub cadet Sc700e
