Oh man what a headache, hope things get sorted out soonest. Ducati sells brake and clutch levers by Rizoma as an official accessory for our bike which I guess is the only way out if we want to change the stock levers. Cheers
I just swapped levers, same bike. Evotech Performance, shorties. Exact replacement for stock. I NEEDED to replace levers. My hands are small and i have a hard time reaching stock levers.
I bought a pair of ASV Shortie Levers and installed them on my Ducati Scrambler 1100. They said they would work. 15 miles out my clutch started slipping and left me stranded. Long story short, they sent the wrong push pin to use. Many hours of frustration and lost riding later we got the right pin size figured out. I love the Levers, but it was an embarrassing scary and pain in the ass to get back on the road.
Yep, definitely connects to the same place. I was able to just pull off some trim pieces to get to the connector, but anything more advanced would definitely require the tank to be moved
I have a 2019 and I was thinking of trying out their levers. But this seems like a pain. ASV should get this fixed. Does not seem like it would be difficult to fix.
I have reached out to the company several times and it seems as though they don't anticipate doing anything about this. That said it was pretty easy to modify the lever to work for me without much effort
My code cleared every time I restarted the bike, and would only reactivate when the bad switch was depressed. When I swapped the switches, the code never came back
Agreed, I've contacted the company and they don't seem to care. I love the profile and finish of the levers, but for this bike it is just too frustrating
Well, that's what you get when you become a design engineer. Folks, the lesson should be if you buy a product that isn't designed to work or fit with your stuff, send it back and get something that works. If you have to modify 3rd party products, just move along. This issue is 100% his fault and no one else's.

Thanks for the heads up I won’t be changing mine .
I used evotech levers on my 2023 multistrada and didn't have any issues, they fit well.

Your videos are great. You’re willing to say when the mistake is your own and warn us about what not to do.
I just installed heated hand grips on my 23 PP. you have to slide the gas tank down to get at the wiring.

Please let me know if the error code cleared by simply replacing the switches or did Ducati need to clear code.

Don’t splice the wiring harness. Just remove the plastics & do it properly. Otherwise you’re just doing the aftermarket levers all over again 🤦♂️
i love ASV levers too but this is crap, you shouldn't have to mess about like this !
