Wow, have a great adventure! Looking forward to that video. God, that bear vault looks like a pain in the ass to haul around though. I salute your cold soak intentions though the thought of no hot coffee in the morning makes me sad. But I offer this serenade in your honor: th-cam.com/video/PVD7gkqr_lQ/w-d-xo.html
@@ElsbethWeeks They are required in the Adirondacks certain times of year. And I've been watching some AT hikers where they are requid in a few places. But up in the Whites hanging food is fine. Plus many of the shelters have bear boxes where everyone can store their food.
I’m impressed at how little you brought with you. Do you know what your base weight was?
Fantastically elaborated and explained, equipment looks really great.👌👌
Thanks! I’d love to see a gear video from you some time!
Awesome video! I like deuter aircontact pro. Fit perfectly on your back and concentrates all the weight on the hip
I’ve actually never tried Deuter - see them around a bunch so I assume people like them!
Good luck!!
Rugged😊😊😊

Haha thanks! Is there anywhere on the East that requires the bear cans? It’s crazy (we don’t have grizz in California so same bears I think)
