My great great grandfather was a yodeler my grandmother said he was the best and one of the fastest yodelers in the world you could always know its him because hes yodeling to your house fast like a whistle.

How anybody could begin to think he is underrated? He sings beautifully and I don't think I have ever heard any of his songs until I started listening to a radio station that plays songs without any introduction. Thanks to the Shazam app I get to listen to more of his music.

Some people can sing because of their natural talent, some people can sing because of alot of practice, and some people can't sing because they don't have the talent and not practicing much

This was the B side to 1962 UK Number 1 "Lovesick blues" (he had 4 No. 1 hits in 1962-1963) and,as an A side reached 40 in 1991,credited to Frank Ifield and the Backroom Boys,a remix.His oddest release was "Jolly What" ,an American album featuring 8 tracks by Frank Ifield and 4 tracks by The Beatles...nowadays a very rare collector's item,especially on bright red see-through vinyl,especially as coloured vinyl records were not very often seen in the early 60's.An autographed and authenticated red vinyl copy (all 5 autographs) sold for just over £19,000 at auction in 2014.

Glenn Johnson Saw Frank in his almost one man show last night at the Babbacombe Theatre here in Devon.Although no longer able to yodel through a previous illness,still singing and doing falsetto voice breaks.Such a nice guy,now 79.Do this song in my stage act,Frank certainly inspired me.Thanks for uploading this popular song and thanks Frank for a wonderful evening.Back to Australia tomorrow i believe to continue with his Australian Country Showcase tv show on Keep it country tv channel.All the best!
