This is the stuff of dreams (not wet ones) from learning to ride in the 70/80s, there was the ProAm 350LC and CBR600 series. But these modern bikes with radial tyres are fan bloody tasic nearly straight out of the box....the game is moving on for us mere mortals!

Nice vid & looked fun Chops although a tricky & challenging track that seems to suit slower more agile bikes. Looking forward to the next one.
Yeah it's extremely tight and twisty! Only 2 seconds slower on the SMCR to the SD in the end!
Loved the 80s electronic stuff kicking in. Thought I was watching a deleted scene from Rocky IV 😂

Been to Cadwell several times over the past few months for photography, most recently was the drift championships it was brilliant. One of my top 3 favourite tracks.

Great footage,hot dogs in can first for me.I think the only thing we have close to that in the states are Vienna Sausages in a can but they are only about a third of the length and entirely different meat.Our hotdogs come vacuum packed.👍

@@LambChopRides Can't do anything in the UK. Rules are a lot more relaxed elsewhere in the world, for almost anything. Back to the point - For track I put an action camera on the nose of the bike, and a gopro max either on the yoke stem, the mirror mount, the single seat unit, or the undertray just out of the rubber-fling area.
Yeah wish we could have helmet cameras as would love to record some commentary too! Plus the helmet view looks much better

If you want to capture all the action cant beat an insta360 camera imo. Or the Insta360 One RS camera you can have it in 360 mode or normal 4k mode very good 👍

Cadwell is a spectacular circuit. I really should get there again. Am guessing my RAF Odiham membership has lapsed as didn't get a mailing about this... should go give them my money and see what they have coming up.
I did Cadwell on my old Husky SM510R, it was a supermoto only day and just used the Woodland part of the circuit with a chicane running through the pitlane and still used the Mountain. Crazy fun, but was in November IIRC, and it was wet, so I had to wobble round :D

How would you compare the SDR to the Speed Triple on track?
Both amazing but the Superduke kept the wheel down better, RS wheelied much more when trying to put power down out of the corners. Think the SD would be slighter quicker on a lap but not much 👍
