    Thanks for that. Superwide vs wide is huge. I just shot some windsurfing stuff on wide and its no where near as good.

    thank you!! will watch this a few times for tips. nothing more frustrating than getting good footage, and then seeing ok color because of wrong settings.

    Thanks for all that info. I’m trying to set up my GoPro Hero8 for use on a motorcycle safari. How do you deal with the insane wind noise? Even with the wind noise setting on it is terrible. I bought a foam cover to help deal with this, but it only helps a small amount.

    Thank you for THE GREAT VIDEO. This is my 1st GoPro. Your tips are really helpful. Can you recommend a good beginners video edition software. Getting ready for our 1st grandchild and some fantastic trips and Id love to fool with editing to try and make the pictures better.

    👍 What settings while filming would you suggest while hunting in low light conditions,ie filming early morning duck shooting?

    Did you edit the 800 iso video? Theres no way it looks that good lol. Well it is 4k but I'm using the gopro MAX and anything over 100 iso looks so grainy.

    When using Protune, do you make any changes to Bit Rate?

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a higher bitrate for better quality. It makes your files bigger but I think its worth it.

    what i don't understand is this..i have gopro hero 8 black...and i do all of my settings the same like all those pro gopro youtubers do....and my picture is no where near the quality they have in their videos...even my samsung s9+ have better video quality picture..wtf is wrong and what am i missing over here????

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mortiis, thee are a lot of factors here. What you are filming, where you are filming, what gopro colour settings you use, lighting conditions, etc. Lighting is a really big part of it. Typically GoPro footage looks best on sunny days/ bright environments. If you film yourself inside with bad lighting it will look bad no matter what camera you use. If you have a specific example of a specific shot you filmed that is exactly like something someone else filmed it might be easier to isolate the issue. Another consideration is editing. Most pros are doing a lot of colour correction in post production...

    • @Allen7
      @Allen7 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Movesmedia i understand that about that color correction but even on sunny days my picture does not look clear and sharp ...mostly it looks grainy...

    • @Movesmedia
      @Movesmedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Allen7 if it looks grainy in the "dark areas" it means there may be high dynamic range in the scene (bright sun and really dark shadows). If you bring the max Iso down it should be less grainy.

      @@Allen7 most youtubers put their footage through a video editing software to improve the quality and colors. cheers :)

      @@AndreOliveira-cu3fy thats what u thought aswell...but i was always wondered how can u improve quality when original is not good haha
