    Hey great video, I just have a quick question. Where are you staying for accommodation as I am struggling to find some as I am planning to study in UQ next year

    • @j.olieeee

      @@j.olieeee i bet it will be a better place? where will it be? R u guys going to rent a house and live together as housemate in the open market? But how do you convince the landlord and agent without any prior rental record?? Can assist? cos i will be heading to UQ next yr for my master too. Thanks in advance!

      @@guessmoments hi! we will be living on campus so everything will be so much easier... I'm not sure about actual house rental but if you join different facebook groups (e.g. brisbane student accommodations), they will have offers and rentals available every now and then

    Hiii, I am actually planning to go to Aus for PT program. I heard that UQ has been having all of the lectures online due to COVID for the last couple of years. Are they still doing the lec online right now? Does that impact the quality of teaching? Your vlogs show so many dynamic practical sessions; I just wonder if there are enough facilities and resources for all the students? And what do you think about the quality of those facilities? Thank you in advance and please do more vlogs they are so fun to watch!!!

    • @j.olieeee
      @j.olieeee  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      helloo, yes we do have a lot of online lectures so we get to do them in our own time and pace (which imo is pretty good). we still have face to face prac and tutorial classes so its pretty good too. as for the facilities I think its quite good, many plinths, many prac rooms :) hope this helps

    Hello!

    仲有就係多唔多人fail/defer?
    如果英文唔係話最流利會唔會融入唔到
    好想去讀呢科,但係怕自己頂唔順個workload,最怕高估咗自己能力
    thanksss

    • @j.olieeee
      @j.olieeee  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hihi! i’ll try my best to answer your questions!
      physio is a very high demanding course, it’s gonna be a lot of new info and new learning styles that are quite different from DSE or IB or A levels etc. workload is gonna be high, you’re learning new content every single week and these knowledge and skills are built upon the previous week, so it is very important to keep up with the weekly course content at all times.
      as for my schedule, i normally revise right after prac classes/ lectures, around 5- 6 hours everyday (especially if im learning new content), but ofc i had breaks in between and chill with friends. in those 5-6 hours, 4 hours are mainly actual “sitting down and studying” type of studying, and the remaining hour or two are for practical skills (handling patients, test procedures etc). i put more time throughout the semester to learn so i wont die cramming 13 weeks worth of stuff in the last 2 weeks before exams (TIME MANAGEMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!)
      as for fail/ defer, there are cases where students fail and have to repeat the course, but if you keep up with the content, ask if you have any questions etc, you will turn out just fine ☺️
      as for your concern about english fluency, YOU WILL FIT IN PERFECTLY! there are tons of people from different backgrounds coming from everywhere in the world (yes even hkers as well there are tons in my cohort). people here are so awesome and super nice! i can only speak for my experience here in aussie but i mean it’s about stepping out of your comfort zone right🤩
      it’s great that u want to study physio!! i know it sounds so scary and hard, but we all have to start somewhere :) my advice for you is to find a peer group to study and hang out with, that’s gonna make your semester go by easier and if you really put your heart to it, put in the effort, and actually interested in the human body and how to help others, this course will be DEFINETLY worth it.

      @@j.olieeee thank you so much for your reply!!!🤩
      Do u mind sharing why you chose uq over usyd or universities in the UK?
      Btw did you study at the hku before going Queensland? (Just curious, saw it in ur friend’s vlog🤡)
      Cause I am currently studying here at hku 🤣🤣
      Just curious ~

    • @j.olieeee

      @@haydennnn7631 haha no problem. i didnt study in hku or any hk universities before coming here.
      I chose uq cuz I like the lifestyle here, work-life balance is better imo. I didn't consider any uk unis cuz of the gloomy weather all year long LOL, but also cuz many of the bachelor courses in uk are 3 years, whereas its 4 years here in aus. it just feels like australian universities would provide more in-depth learning experience and skill development in 4 years than 3 years. another reason is that we automatically grad with an honours degree, whereas for usyd u need actual good grades to qualify for honours (and also usyd just rly wasn't my vibe). plus, brissie has such nice weather it makes you happier HAHHAA. hope this answers your questions
