sorry for the late reply ! we’ve been out on the road in the old girl - over 3k miles so far. we’re out in Oregon for a little while longer and heading up to the peninsula soon. I have one or two more build videos on the tank to edit and upload yet. hopefully will gather some of the footage from the journey and do a few in the road episodes. thank you for following along! means a lot ! best to you and the family my friend.
Hi Des ! There was definitely more work to do than initially thought. Surprise right ?:) I am looking forward to the actual buildout but starting from the bottom up literally. It just passed our state vehicle inspection so that was a big step in the right direction. Thanks again Des- best to you !
Thanks Bobby. it seems to be three steps forward two steps back a lot of the time ! but it’s starting to come along. thanks for watching and for your sub !
@@dougcaye7786 yes sir I hear that, we recently started building our 1988 g20 into a camper. I'm tempted to turn it into a 4x4 when it's done. I have a donor truck for all the parts but it seems like a daunting task
the G20s are great vans ! we just got the bed platform in yesterday so maybe we’re starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel! Good luck w your build . Would love to see how it’s coming along. take care -
Sure - rustoleum bare metal primer and then coated with rustoleum enamel. I used a brush and put it on pretty thick - PS if you are doing anything that touches door rubber make sure it dries completely before closing your doors !!
Thanks Seth ! in the voice of Sir Royce "yes, we're getting more intimate than was ever intended" ! Just passed inspection today - so thats crossed of the list and hopefully we'll get to the actual buildout soon. Best to you !
Thanks Mark - I got into guitars instead of cars when I was a kid. wishing I hung w my gearhead buddies more back in the day right about now ! lots to learn.
I’m pretty sure this one was built by WARN - probably an older model headlight/brush guard - I get asked a lot but this was on there when I purchased the van.
Man that's quite a bit of work but it's looking good!
