    Summary : Mediterranean diet is the best diet for fertility

      Totally agreed. There are so much information out there and I got confused when it comes to avoiding raw and uncooked food. Does it mean salad is not allowed since it's raw vegetables?

    Thank you so much for making fertility information more accessible to all of us. Thank you. I have a comment/question. Fertility doctors all agree that maternal age is, hands down, the main factor affecting embryo/egg quality. Stanford just released a very interesting twin study on nutrition. They compared a healthy vegan diet to a healthy omnivore diet (similar to a Mediterranean diet). After only 8 weeks, the vegans had decreased their biological age while the omnivores continued to age as usual (as measured by the size of the telomeres at the end of the DNA strands). Am I the only one thinking this is an incredible AMAZING finding?!!! If we can decrease our biological age in any way, would that not have an impact on the quality of our eggs? Eggs are cells in our bodies after all, maybe we can, to some extent of course, make our eggs behave like younger eggs by eating even healthier? I know this is all theoretical, but it sure made me feel empowered and gave me a lot of hope when I heard about this amazing, measured, result of decreased biological age after just 8 weeks eating this way. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

    This is great information. Something that always bothers me about this topic in general, though, is that there are countless people who are not a part of these studies that end up pregnant "on accident" with a diet of fast food, alcohol, and at times recreational drugs. So, to beg the question, does it really make THAT big if a difference when you put those TTA yet ended up pregnant anyway, into the equation?
    It's the same concept of telling people to be less stressed, while people in the midst of wars (or other major hardships) are having no trouble at all.

      If you get your bloods done relatively frequently, say every six months or so, you can see the improvements in hormone levels just from making diet and lifestyle changes. I improved my egg health by lowering carbs and therefore losing weight and improving insulin resistance. I also lowered prolactin quite quickly from removing some sources of stress from my life and sleeping before midnight. Genetics and age will play a part in overall health and fertility, but 80% of health outcomes are due to lifestyle. Even if you're healthy, it doesn't hurt to improve your chances by following the most basic guidelines for optimum fertility.

    Hello, which food is good to assist produce multiple eggs during ovulation

    • @drlorashahine
      @drlorashahine  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m not aware of foods that will do that. Some fertility medications like Clomid and Letrozole can make the ovaries ovulate more that one egg ❤️🤞🍍

    Does coughing & cold after 4days embryo transfer effect implantation?

      This is a great question. I would advise you to consult your medical provider, as I can't give medical advice to personal situations on social media. I have a lot of content on the subject on this channel, website drlorashahine.com, TH-cam and Instagram account @drlorashahine that are great sources for you

      Take that with A grain of salt !! Sometimes even Doctors gave gotten it wrong before . Go see A reproductive endocrinologist & find alternatives to whatever you are going through !!! Women who have struggled for years have miraculously gotten pregnant years later after being told their Egg Reserve is too low .

      It depends on many factors - where you live, what company you work for, insurance, the clinic you choose, etc. In general one egg retrieval and one embryo transfer can cost $15,000-25,000.00 in the US
