Rural King has this Huckleberry Walnut Gold plated on sale this week, the receiver has the fake gold finish and it's $519.97 as of Dec 8. Looks really darn good!
Hey brother, great review 👍. Henry golden boys start at around 1k, so finding something else half price, accurate, and fully functional is awesome. Thanks brother.
Quite interesting to see this video. Grabbed another .357 revolver off PSA for a great price last week. Now, interested in a long gun that will accept .38 special and .357 magnum.
The only thing i dont like about my G-Force is the buckhorn sights. The loading gate was a little stiff at first but no big deal. Ive only shot about 200 rounds of 357 and 38 so far and i do occasionally have a 2nd shot eject but ill get it fixed later. I only shoot it and my handguns a few times a year
I wish it had both not only the loading gate but the also the tube that can be removed and you dropped the rounds in. I have shot many 22s that had it where you can remove it ,and drop the rounds in and it was much faster reloading. But also with a loading gate would be pretty rad
@RimfireRanger i think I got a reply not sure it from PSA - that it is threaded. But I didn't roll the dices on this untili get the UPC for sure. Lol.
I bought the case hardened model and it is not threaded as confirmed by gforce arms, however, I did see a video of a guy on youtube with the same case hardened model and his was threaded. His video was maybe 2 months before I got mine, so I'm not sure if the first run of production had threaded and then they changed it or if Hugtek just kind of interchanges barrels between their tactical and classic cowboy models and ships them under same UPC. It may be luck of the draw, so if you want a threaded model for sure I would try to find the tactical version with the rail because that's meant to have the threaded barrel.
Nice review, have you had any issues with this gun double ejecting from time to time? I’ve seen 2 or 3 reviews that have caught this issue of it throwing an unfired round when ejecting the old one.
I currently have one that I had to send back from it ripping .357 casings in half making rifle unusable. The company is jerking me around saying they don’t have any to replace the faulty one the sent out. I would steer clear of this brand. Spend the extra money for at least a Rossi.
@@willj6044 was that happening i..ediately after buying the rifle? I jave rwo ranfe trips with this now and it is smooth as butter. I hope it holds up like that
i have one of these, but the regular one and not the case hardened one shown here. I do have occasional issues with it ejecting a 2nd round. I only have a little over 200 rounds through it, so im gonna put another couple hundred and see if it resolves itself. If not ill just mess with the spring a bit. I believe there are one or two videos on fixing these up a little. Zero regret as i got mine for like 480. I just dont see a reason to spend 1,000 on a gun like a Henry id shoot just a few times a year.
@NativeVoyce i didn't try that but probably. The gate is the only thing retaining the ammo, may need a bulket to push it down enough to release rounds. Being new that gate was hella stiff
Cool. I was looking at a Ruget Marlin that is specifically designed to unload at the gate. I think thats a cool feature if you want to switch up loads while shooting.
@@bizzlesnach I had a model 92 in 44 mag that gained 600 fps over my 9 1/2 inch Ruger Super Redhawk but recoil was brutal. I found this online for you. I was curious too. @th-cam.com/video/YRIZl0keBGY/w-d-xo.html
Im looking to buy the same model but in 3030. Thanks for the review. Subbed.

i own G-Force Huckleberry and am very happy
Nice!!! Grew up shooting the lever action .30 .30. And 30 06. Awesome stuff. Ty Bushido.

I just searched for “I’ll be your huckleberry…” about 40 minutes ago. Now here we are! There are no coincidences. Great review, Bushido. 1T1F
That Golden Boy is gorgeous. I've had a hard time finding a reasonably priced .357 lever action of quality on the secondary market.
Been looking for a nice lever action .357 carbine. Nice. Thanks.

this was exactly what led me to this rifle

does that exist? if it does, I need it
@bizzlesnach I'm not sure if they do but the should. Moder solutions to age old problems, The Best of Both Worlds.
Henry lever actions have that
I'm looking to pickup one from PSA and I preferred to have a threaded barrel.
What is the last 6-digits of your UPC # with threaded barrel ??
Thanks.
I’m looking for the same thing, did you figure out which model it is?

@jacksonlesko942 i like the wood stock vs tactical. But Thanks for the updates.
