The diff drops are meant to decrease the angle of the joints. I have a Challenger PB with 2" lift and 33" BFG Mud tires... and I've already changed one axle because of the angle and the force its imposed by the lift. Dropping the diff decreases this angle, being able to fit bigger lifts.

Hi there, i have a 2020 Triton and added 1”spacer on the front plus longer spring (1”longer then the stock spring). Is almost 3” rise for the front do i need to do a diff drop?

What's the difference between the old and new upper control arms?

Increased caster adjustment when doing a wheel alignment plus the stock UCA hits the shock at full droop

I have a 2 inch lift and strut spacers but my cv boots keep splitting will the replacement arms solve this issue? i was looking at superior diff drop bracket when i saw this but this looks like a bigger change. how much will it drop the diff?

waste of time & money, just shorten the springs a little & U will loose 20mm in height but save Thousands. Never again will I be raising a 4x4 ute any higher than 1". Once you go any further you have to change everything which will cost you thousands, and for what? a measly extra inch in height that will sag in weeks. All you are doing is keeping these overpriced & greedy 4x4 parts shop owners in luxury. They get everything for less than a quarter of what they are charging U.

....and that is your opinion, which I guess is "mostly" true. The guys in Thailand who work on these a lot said 2 inches and under, dif drops a waste of time. 2 inch and over, can save your cv's going to soon but the also affects your droop distance. Properly set up from the start, no sag. But it always cost $$$$ that's why 4WD's are money pits.
