brings a tear to my eye, this was my first atv , i bought it in 2005, i have up graded and bought a brand new grizzly 700 back in 2015, but i miss this thing, the boys used to give me shit about the color but she never left me stranded.
It was my first quad too, same color. Used to get so much shit when I was 14 for this quad until I finally lined up and walked away from my buddies 250ex. Never left my stranded.
My grandparents used to take me around on one just like this in the dark blue/pink color scheme. Now it belongs to me and I'm getting it running for my farm work 😊
I have two of these now. Just bought a 1996 model yesterday and it looks just like that, only not in that good shape. I bought it for parts. I sure would like tires that are in that good of shape! And these machines are tanks! Mine rolled off the trailer going 55 mph and still fired right up the next day! (But hence the reason I bought a spare one, to fix a couple of broken parts.) It'll run forever for sure!
@@alextootill1569 I have no idea! My coworker has helped me keep my machine running but luckily I haven't had to mess with the starting system at all. I did have a ground wire issue after rolling it. Replaced the electrical box by using the one off my spare machine and she fired right up!
Just bought one today for 400 show room condition from some guy who didn’t speak any English and had no idea why it wouldn’t start. Gas and oil tank completely clean looked like it has never had any fluids put into it. So happy has an electric issue trying to figure out what the problem is.
Just got a pristine 95. Looks just like that. Not a woman, or a kid. But it was a great starter quad. Heck im only 6 years older than it. So we get along great. Worth every penny of the 200 bucks i paid.
I bought one of these, an 1986 the first year they were produced. The guy big bored it, so it has a 350cc head jug on it. This thing RIPS. It is so fast I kid you not it is a little scary actually especially with no front brakes. I love it so much. Did I mention I scored it for $350 and it’s in like mint condition almost haha
I have the same year and model trail boss and I cannot for the life of me find we’re to check the transmission oil, do you know anything about it, this is the only video I found with the same year and model
What kind of mpg or range per tank are you guys getting out of these? Mostly gonna use it as a utility quad on the farm here, I know a 4stroke would have been better, but I just got one of these thrown in for free an another swap, hah. Not to worried about fuel cost, just don't want to get stuck far from home for not knowing roughly the range per tank. Thanks in advance
