I just woke to find good sounds to go with my coffee. I came across this Ben that I’ve never heard of before. My eyes are now open wide and impressed and had completely forgotten about my coffee.
Pretty much the only transitions he does nowadays, with music; I started following him and his music over a decade ago, when he (and his original band) had some of the best transitions I'd heard in music for a long time. Now? Not at all.
Almost makes me cry. "Somedays I'm almost gone babe, back to the beginning of a time". I read about him having mini strokes/or something and I'm sure the thought of passing through goes through his and all of our minds. Love Ben!! And his drummer is so good and fun to watch along with the whole band.

I had to watch this video at least 5 times: the first was for the artists perspective, second for the visual creativity, third was to listen to the lyrics, forth for the AV breakdown, and fifth was to to sit-back and enjoy the amazing performance as a whole! Well done.

Just put this comment on the Days Of Lantana video, but seems appropriate here too: I have found these videos a fantastic way to help a Ben Howard listener, one that generally 'prefers' the earlier sound to the newer sound, to understand and appreciate the newer sounds and how they are put together/still so very connected to the earlier sounds. I'll be relistening to the previous two albums in a new light once I've worn out 'Is It?'. Thanks for these videos!!

This is just gorgeous! I loved the studio version and got hooked on that short intro and was anticipating and excited for a more acoustic version, and this is just so satisfying. I love that we get so many versions of his music to enjoy at different moments and moods. Ben Howard is a genius, I'm so happy to have his music in my life
