My young son and I bonded over Lost recently. We were both saddened when it was all over because it was over. It was a special show that will always live in our hearts.

Nice! Early this year I rewatched all the seasons again within a time span of three weeks. I just couldn't stop. I loved how each character had an in-depth background story, how their lives were intertwined (often without even knowing it), the dialogues, the returning sentences and all the mystery. Lost was special.
My advice to you is to watch it another six or seven times. The show is designed to be rewatched about 10 times. You will be amazed at how many things you miss each time you watch it. I absolutely 100% guarantee that every time you watch it you will be more and more impressed by how many more things you catch. By about the fifth time you will be addicted and realize that's the secret to the show! You start to understand everything much better by the time you gain a base knowledge of the show by the third or fourth watch through. After the 7th or 8th watch through only then can you really understand what they're actually trying to hide from you. I've seen it 15 times and I still catch things that I didn't see the other 14 times. The very first time I watched it I recorded it on VHS and we would watch it again right afterwards to see what we missed and then we would watch it again before the new episode aired the following Wednesday. So I had seen it three times during the original watch through and I took notes the entire time. It's amazing even with all of that how much I missed. I'm telling you you won't regret it. This is why so many people didn't like the ending. They didn't watch it enough to understand what was going on.
It was amazing, a few friends and I would meet up at our apartments/houses to watch it every Wednesday and it was the highlight of my week! So much has changed since then with the streaming takeover and being able to watch an entire season of a show over a weekend instead of week by week over eight or nine months.

But if you missed more than one episode then you were truly lost. So many twists and turns. The final episode, I have to admit, I did not get the first time around. But when I watched it the second time, it clicked. I love how some characters, like Ben, were only supposed to be in one or two episodes, but the actors did such a great job that the writers found ways to keep them in the story. That's great storytelling!

It helps if you can forget certain things and then be surprised when you see them... Were all questions answered? Absolutely not. But man, such a great ride. If you don't "get" the final episode, I recommend watching it a few times with closed captions on because most of your questions about what's going on are answered. I remember an interviewer saying to Damon Lindelof (one of the creators of the show) something along the lines of "I was disappointed to find out that they were all dead the whole time" to which Damon said, "What? That's not what's going on. You should watch it again. All of those people lived on that island and did all of those things!" It just shows how easy it is to misunderstand it. It can be complicated.
The writers themselves admitted they weren't going anywhere with the script and story and didn't intent to tie everything up. The few things that were explained in the end would be better if they weren't.
No. Not every single franchise needs its corpse being painted in rainbow colors and paraded for a quick buck. With today's TV writers, it would be a disaster.
Gotta say that Hurley was my favorite character. I thought he was sooooo adorable but also tough when it came down to brass tacks. Thank you, Jorge, for bringing such a wonderful character to life.
I just finished my umpteenth rewatch - this time, with my partner. The show is not just a show I watch, it's an experience I gift myself with almost yearly. Each time, I identify differently with each character, their development, their growth, or their redemption story. I don't understand everything about the show, even after so many rewatches. It's not about solving every mystery of the island. Each time, I gather something new. My takeaways are not about what I learn from the show, it's what I learn about myself. Lost, is that place where I think we wish we could all go at some point; a place where we could all have a fresh start. Lost is my island. And almost yearly, "We have to go back!"
I have pleasant memories connected to Lost. My ex-wife and I would watch it every week. I recall it ending in 2010 and then our daughter being born later that same year. Favorite show ever.

The fact that No TV show can match LOST in terms of all-around quality, which is sad but it's also a testament to how special a show it is. Nothing really compares in terms of the mystery, suspense and emotional roller-coaster it puts you on. There are so many fans of lost that all say the same thing, Lost is special!

Am I the only person that immediately stopped at the rolled fruit snack credited at S1E25? Jacob didn't appear until S5, specifically the S5 finale "The Incident" that shows Jacob interacting with a portion of his candidates including Hurley in the taxi cab.

I can't believe it's been 20 years now. Lost came out the same year i started high school in 2004 and ended about my second year into college. It was the first show to really grab my interest and it started the whole flash forward and flash backward trend in other shows. I'm looking forward to re watching it soon. ..... Perhaps I'll restart it at the beginning of the new year. 🤔

The van episode was one of my favorites! At that time in the show yall had been through so much and I was glad to see you having some fun!

The promise of the premise was extraordinary (especially the first couple of seasons). The end result was ... mixed at best. Jorge Garcia always delivered. "The numbers are bad!"

Great acting Jorge, I just started one week ago to see Lost again after 20 years and I love it. There is a before and after in tv shows thanks to lost. I´m enjoying Hugo character is so nice, good guy, cute. One of the best series ever. Greetings from Mexico city.

Looks like it's picking up again. Some channels recently started, others are at a slow pace, but there are new reactions out there.

Holy cow have it really been 20 years?! I love Lost and watched when I was around 12. Now I rewatch Lost or watch Lost recaps frequently as a guilty pleasure and safe space when life sometimes get tough. Love Lost always!

Am I the only person that immediately stopped at the rolled fruit snack credited at S1E25? Jacob didn't appear until S5, specifically the S5 finale "The Incident" that shows Jacob interacting with a portion of his candidates including Hurley in the taxi cab.

Jorge is awesome because he’s literally just the same guy as Hugo was personality and humor wise. Great guy and probably my favorite character from the show.
I'm ready for the spinoff where we find out what happened to Aaron since Claire wasn't the one who raised him...
This is awesome. I've always wanted "some freaking answers!" dude, and it's even better that it's coming from one of my favorite characters in the show. Can't wait to see more!

Hulu should’ve done a 20th anniversary of Lost like how Max did with Harry Potter.
When you see some of the shyte that gets big celebrations as well. Harry Potter a kids film gets a yearly thing ffs . Lost was one of the best things they did,, probably to do with it being genuine and truly inclusive,, we all know they hate that,, they prefer to race bait and scream diversity when they're anything but themselves.
Legend and legendary series. Must of watched the entire thing 15 times.

I can't believe it's been 20 years now. Lost came out the same year i started high school in 2004 and ended about my second year into college. It was the first show to really grab my interest and it started the whole flash forward and flash backward trend in other shows. I'm looking forward to re watching it soon. ..... Perhaps I'll restart it at the beginning of the new year. 🤔

Always so nice to see an actor who sort of remembers / cherishes their time on a show in the same way the fans do! I remember watching some cast interview for something once and the actors kept saying "your character" like they had no idea what their name was and the only thing they cared about was the paycheck it gave them
