I have a 1878 that has pretty decent wear, that has been in the family for generations. Nothing particularly special or value, only value it holds is it was owned by family. That’s the most valuable thing anyone can own!

I have an 1878 Morgan dollar in a coin clasp on a silver chain arround my neck. The dollar is undamaged. It was given to me by my parents on my 21st birthday, I will be 70 this July. When I was left a small gold chain in the will of a dear friend, I had it fitted to my silver chain so I can wear both. I sincerly hope my dollar only has a low value so I will never have to sell it, $40,000 would be a temptation!
