Master Ji Zhaohua 季昭華 is the head of his family style Baiji Quan: the "Ji" style Baji Quan, born in the city of Cangzhou of Hebei province, home to many amazing Wushu styles.
In this exclusive interview, we discover his Wushu story, from his childhood until today.

People may mistake Ji Zhaohua to be just another master of Chinese martial art but "Dr. Ji" IS ALSO A PROFESSOR and WAS the Director of National Taiwan university veterinary hospital.

甚麼純不純的，傳武的毛病就是自吹自擂，善於自抬身價、批鬥別人，缺乏實戰、比賽經驗，無法驗證她的實戰性，一昧的否定別人，批評別人，不敢跟自由搏擊比試印證實戰武道（只會用傳承、套路別人），就是套招打假拳，自從傳武被打假後很多人都醒了，那些靠電影、武俠小說、老掉牙的故事詐騙別人的把戲，已經騙不了人了，一天到晚套路別人終有翻車的一天啊。

This is basically Wutan style. 99% of what they have is learned from Wutan lineage, and MAYBE they had little fragments left as a family style from before, but they relearned the whole system from Wutan. Of course they don’t want the public to know this, because they want to market it as their own style.

i just dont feel right watching these movements hitting the floor so hard will damage your knee joint , also , hitting the ground hard will block your movement and inhibe you to do a long range stricks with slides , anyway i wish u a good day master
Where can we find more info about Master Ji and his style? Would love to potentially find another teacher in the near future since Baji is challenging enough to find in the US and travel to China for anything other than business or diplomacy is currently probably ill-advised (especially for Americans)

Edit: I did! Unfortunately I have been unable to return to training stateside, but perhaps one day it won’t matter if I can somehow enroll in full-time study under another teacher

As for empty hands form, there are a total of 12 forms. 8 pure Baji forms, and 4 other forms, not Baji Quan but part of the Ji style lineage
