The Aston Martin DB7 Volante Is A Horrible Car... Until You Give It A Chance

- It's day 2 of the Enthusiast Tour and I swapped the keys of my loaner Ferrari California for a few hours in an Aston Martin DB7 Volante.
The @WorldwideAuctioneers Enthusiast Tour is always a hoot. So much to see and do every day. Today was no different. Kicking off with an AMAZING private collection that was very Corvette heavy (my specialty). Followed by a delicious lunch at the premier restaurant in Roanoke, IN that serves 100% Wagyu Beef. Then, we got to see the cows where the Wagyu Beef came from! Of course, in between all of this, I got to let the Ferrari sing, and then get to know an Aston Martin DB7 intimately. Lots of fun to be had in this one folks!

I'm not a corvette dude either, but I enjoy hearing Elliott nerd out. That was educational and entertaining.
Well Elliott, you had me worried there for a bit, but this video has confirmed two things that have put my mind back at ease. One, that you still are very much a Corvette guy! I had my doubts after the last video! And two, that you aren't a vampire!

Really nice production values on this one, A great collection as well. You'd think you might see one building full of classics and feel fulfilled, but the passion for them always comes through in each viewing.

Ok Elliott....very cool they invited you back again for the Enthusiast Tour and the Auction! Can you explain how this tour involves cars up for sale, yet you are allowed to drive them all over the place during the "tour" itself? Just wondering because if I sent a car to auction, I wouldn't expect it to get a couple hundred extra miles put on it before the sale....love that they let you drive them!! Ferrari is nice, but the "Italian Job" movie in me wants to go with the DB7 Volante!! Even if it does occasionally need a tow truck. LOL Guess I'm a "ragtop man". Which explains the 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited in the garage. Until Saturday....
In this case, we got special permission for me to drive the Ferrari from the consigner. Every other car on the tour was personally owned or owned by Worldwide. But I know exactly what you mean. it’s a testament to the quality of the cars that they offer though.
I love the style of an Aston Martin DB7, but so far the closest I have come is my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid.

If you could buy one, wouldn't you go for a 360 or 458? I see you as such a guy. The California is a perfect top down cruiser, so I do get it.
@@ForcesNL I’d go with a 430 spider first and foremost. That’s the best “affordable” Ferrari in my opinion. And it still has the single clutch gearbox so it feels excellent shifting under full throttle. After spending so much time in the California though, it’s the best of everything. It’s fast, it sounds great, it looks great. But it’s also super comfortable and the transmission won’t burn itself up if you drive it in traffic. I could honestly daily drive a California.
Was that a Ford Model A I spotted for a brief second at the big house collection? You know the rules... If you spot a Model A, you must get a full shot of it!!! Rules are rules, man.
Ahh I’m sorry Paul! There’s a Model A pickup convertible going up on the block on September though. I’ll be sure to spend some time with it when I go back.

There lovely cars to drive I had one! They get bad name for no reason. The people who give them a bad name don’t even owner a Aston Martin they talk crap ! I’ve had 5 Martins ! The v8 vantage was the worse one to drive !
