That I would still be taking her to appointments but it would be a far more enjoyable drive in an Aston Martin! I got her to smile and she said that we have all the time in the world..she will get better and I'll be able to get back to work again ( I've been taken care of her full time for over a year now. Since one of the doctors took me aside said we can either make her comfortable and I plan for the day when I'm alone, and come up with some sort of hobby.or pray. ) So I watch vids on Aston Martin. Hobby. And pray. Long day here. Great car.. time to check her and maybe sleep.

I can't imagine someone knowingly spraying sealer on a car when it is going to be obvious and will definitely come back on them. A more likely scenario is that it was an accident. A lot of seal coating sprayers are hydraulic and have very strong pumps. If the person controlling the pump accidentally turns it up too high or if the person spraying closes the spray wand with the pump still going, it can cause a very strong build up of pressure that can nearly jerk the spray wand out of the persons hand when they open the valve to spray again. Also, due to the high pressure, when a hose blows, it can cause sealer to unintentionally spray everywhere until someone can cut the pump off. The last possibility is the wind. Though you shouldn't seal coat on a windy day, while spraying a random gust of strong wind can cause the sealer to travel a fairly long distance through the air, though I do not think this is the case based on how much overspray is on the car. The bottom line is that they should never have been spraying that close to a vehicle and if you ever see seal coating being done, you should move your car far away.
In 2010 I saw a DB7, it was the first sports car I saw when I. I was about 6. That really sparked my love for Aston Martin's and cars. Still have the photo of me trying to look super serious standing next to it🤣.
When I worked in a Honda dealership the owner and I watched the wheel alignment tech T bone a parked car with his freshly painted BMW... A fun day at work!
Yep, with Bitcoin that TRX fee would be 1% or more and would take hours to confirm as well. Then you'd need to sell your BTC for USD on an exchange, another potential (albeit avoidable) fee, and then hope BTC doesn't devalue itself in the hours or days it takes you to do all of this. I'd laugh my ass off if BTC ever tried to do half of what VISA does every second. What BTC's transaction speed? 4.6 a second? VISA is 1,700 a second.
@@JohnDoe-bw9zp lol 1%, where do you get this figure? Right now, with a 20 cent TRX fee, you can get confirmations in under 15 minutes. And besides, even if it was 1%, that is still significantly less than 3%, but it isn't even close to the actual value.
Seal coating is kinda a dirty game to start. To really be competitive in the market you can't always afford to do it the "right" way . You pretty much have to skimp on the emulsion or someone else will scoop you on the price. These companies tend to sorta be like roofing companies after a storm. Glad it worked out.

No job too big or small, apparently. Travelling folk who _pitch_ tar for driveways are usually of a certain breed. They're shrewd but not intellectual types.
What car do you love that no one else seems to understand?
Everything old and Citroen
Reliant Scimitar
90-93 Honda accords
05-07 Subaru Legacy GT
Dacia Sandero
Doug is the best love every story he tells and what a great guy to know and im sure fun to hang out with would love to see him make his own TH-cam channel the things that would be awesome to see in real time
The word " Dodgy " is the most appropriate word in the car industry !!
"Your own asphalt!" Killer dad joke for the win!
Repaint plus diminished value, right you cant ever forget about diminished value
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!
Always a good time when there’s a good story on VINwiki
B is for Broke cool story bro
i once drove by a construction site while they were replacing the road and similarly, they “accidentally” sprayed the entire passenger side of my car with fresh tar. Needless to say I pulled a U-turn right then and told them they’d have to pay for the detail., no excuses. I may have also said a higher price to get more cash out of them for my time wasted
Are those the factory wheels? They look surprisingly modern for an Aston of that vintage lol
Very intelligent man and nice story telling ability. Now one of my favorite VinWiki stories. Thanks for sharing.
“... it’s your own ass-fault!”.... you win the internet sir...
E d u c a t o r s T h a t S e a l c o a t happens to be as much in Ohio as Doug is. Could be unrelated
I’m going to guess it’s Educators that seal coat in Bedford Ohio
Well for the title I tought this was a tipical story of a rich schoolboy that offended his teacher, his teacher got mad and fucked up his car.
Glad it wasn't, loved to hear this!
I love the DB7 GT too. It’s absolutely beautiful, even better than the already beautiful standard car.
I agree
Its so simple and elegant, i never apreciated how good it looks.
Glad it worked out for you! I told my lady that if if have to drive her to doctors and Hospitals in a 2002 Toyota corolla that I'd much rather be driving a 2002 Aston Martin. ( she's a fragile diabetic who's been hospitalized 13 times in 2 and 1/2 years. 2 days ago the doctors told me to wait in the chapel after I had to call an ambulance and they'd talk to me. 2 hours later they told me they managed to bring her back.) That I would still be taking her to appointments but it would be a far more enjoyable drive in an Aston Martin!
Andrew Wolkowich cool story bro
Coolest teacher I had owned a lotus Elise. Also owned a Lincoln ls I told him to get rid of that car he never listen. It's worth like 3k nowadays
Proof that there ARE some great guys who are cops.
Nice that it all buffed out.
Can you tell me more about that "Nuts for Stick" Database
I love that ending!!! It fought me so off guard.
NOT INCLUDING BITCOIN? lol.
Bet he regrets not taking Bitcoin now🤣😂
Had an alignment tech TOTAL a car pulling from the parking lot to the bay. Amazing
0:44 You mean the twin mondeo engine?
Guillermo .B Or you can say the Mondeo has half V12 Aston Martin/Jaguar V12, haha.
Twin Taurus Engine here in the US
Holy Christ. 13 minutes to tell us that a teacher with a summer job of sealing asphalt vandalized your car and then didn't want to pay for it?
This channel is long winded and cringe tbh
the aston looks like someone put a body kit on an 01 chrylser sebring
Technically it's a jag xjs with a body kit
The DB7 saved the company but was essentially heavily based on the sister company, Jaguar’s XK8, it was pilloried for that over here in the UK amongst aficionados.
Why did you vandalize a piece of art? As a teacher he should be ashamed.
Most are not ashamed about indoctrinating your kids into becoming commie sympathizers snowflakes and joining antifa. Why would they be ashamed of acting out their evil emotions?
@@erne75 are you bent? Because he just destroyed a piece if art you fucktard!
teachers are libtards who want everyone to be forced to take public transport
Mgoblagulkablong is that why the south is stupid? Because there are no ‘liberal’ teachers to educate their children? Is that why they want coal mines? Because coal mining is the limit of their ambition and education?
@@Mgoblagulkablong Nah m8. You can't blame every teacher. You can only blame the one mentioned in the vid.
“It’ll be your own ass fault” ... that line hurt my soul 😂🤣😂
i love the suzuki cappuccino and i feel like many others don't
Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 Brown Dial with Brown leather Strap. Good Choice !!
Doug is my favorite story teller
“It’s going to be your own asphalt “ 😂😂😂
First time "oh, that'll buff right out" was actually true!! 😂😂
What a coincidence. Have had a huge thing for these exact cars for 10+ years.
I wonder if the teacher taught art classes lol
You should have charged him $1500 +3% so you could by another *SHIRT*
In 2010 I saw a DB7, it was the first sports car I saw when I. I was about 6. That really sparked my love for Aston Martin's and cars. Still have the photo of me trying to look super serious standing next to it🤣.
EXCUSE ME, “the pigs coming out of Aston in the 80’s”?????? The original vantage is one of the most beautiful cars ever
Yeah but that's 1972. Or do you mean the V8 Vantage? That came out in 1977.
When I worked in a Honda dealership the owner and I watched the wheel alignment tech T bone a parked car with his freshly painted BMW...
A fun day at work!
I'm sorry man, I know the feeling on a personal level
“take all sorts of forms of payment.... not including BitCoin... or Private tutoring”
😭😭😂😂😂 my favorite Quote BY FAR
Last time I was this early, the C2C cars were still in Connecticut
That officer was a boss. He did a good job for laying down the law and saying it as it was.
Killed it with the closing line 😂
There is a company in my town that has a slogan.... "No concrete...Your own asphalt!"
"it'll be your own asphalt" lmao
What a badass cop man :D Hopefully you got him a nice bottle or something
"don't accept bitcoin", "not going to squawk about 3% fee from the Credit Card company". lololol
Great last line, concluding a tale of justice served.
"It's gonna be your own AssFault"
Lol
I love the statement he is making with his shirt!
I agree. Beautiful car.
Seal coating is kinda a dirty game to start. To really be competitive in the market you can't always afford to do it the "right" way . You pretty much have to skimp on the emulsion or someone else will scoop you on the price. These companies tend to sorta be like roofing companies after a storm. Glad it worked out.
“Beat the tar out of it” 😂😂😂
Something similar happened to me 2 years ago my neighbor decided to paint his back garage on a somewhat windy day with his new air paint gun my new at the time Denali Sierra parked in my back yard the truck is carbon black metallic by the time he finished it was white with a bit of gray but he was 100% apologetic paid for everything to get it fixed but I’ll never forget the feeling in my stomach when I saw the truck covered in overspray
"Educators that Sealcoat"? That's quite the name for a company.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and since I'm cross eyed and a raving loony I too find the 2003 astons "Beautiful"
