I live in Calgary, some days we are the hottest or coldest place on the planet. For the long winters, I own several pairs of heated gloves for outdoors and biking every single day. I just recently bought a pair of heated fingerless gloves (with temperature options) for flying in the winter and they work great. Combined with my heated winter pants, heated socks, and heated under vest, I’m sitting cozy and toasty even when it’s -25 C outside. And it’s not expensive, heated clothing is very affordable, from head to toes I spent $200 CAD for all my gear.

DJI FPV 03 camera works with DJI 03 goggles. Radiomaster pocket comes in different TRANSMITTER versions. If you get the ELRS Version then you need to ensure the RECEIVER in the drone is also ELRS.

Hey there, Captian Drone! Nice video! So, we were considering this drone and already have the DJI Avata. I am just confirming that you can use the DJI Goggles 2 and the DJI Remote 2 (the guy at the store I called seemed to tell me I needed to buy a "dedicated" controller for this Whoop. Not having to buy an additional remote and batteries really knocks the price down. Based on 1:39 of the video, wanted to ask how easy it was to use the DJI hardware to control the Cinelog 20?

Hi. From South Africa, THANK you for all the great content. I watch every video. I have a quick question. I have a cinelog25 Vista. I also have a cinebot30 O3. Im thinking of selling my cinelog25 to buy the cinelog20 O3 (like in your review). I struggle to make smooth turns with cinebot30 indoor but the cinelog25 turns so smooth. Would the cinelog20 (with peanut or naked gp9) be better for real estate shooting then the cl25? I don't worry about outside as I do have the cinebot30 for outside.
Honestly, I don't recommend any FPV drone for real estate shooting since the odds of messing up the walls and ceilling are very high unless you are a pro. For real estate indoor shooting, get yourself a DJI Mini (any version).

Hello Captain, I'd like to ask If I buy this drone or any other drone with DJI 03 unit do I need to worry about Flight Zones? I live near the airport and I can't fly my DJI avata in my backyard. I'd like to buy something I don't have to worry about restrictions like that.

Currently there are no such thing as NO FLY ZONES built into the DJI 03 system.

Yes, PNP is what you need (I agree that the real term should be BNF). Also I have a video coming out this week that shows how someone unfamiliar with the RC HOBBY would bind and configure everything.

If I want to purchase the Cinelog 20 drone, they offer four receiver systems to choose from: PNP, Frsky, Nano RX, and ELRS. Which one should I select for the system I currently own? Three things you need to know. One is that you want PNP with DJI O3. The second is that you need to watch my video so that you don’t goof things up. And 3rd is NEVER EVER CLICK ON an UPDATE or FIRMWARE UPDATE button within BETAFLIGHT Configurator. I’m stuck between this CineLog 20 and the CineLog 25. I want it to do a mix of indoor and outdoor flying but worried if the 25 would be too big for indoor or if the 20 would manage okay outside. I know you flew it outside but how well would it handle abit of breeze/ wind? What would would you go for? Thanks
The 20 is for indoors, BUT ONLY FOR AN EXPERIENCED FPV PILOT

When it comes to DJI Controllers for the FPV hobby there are only two. Either the grey controller that comes with the DJI FPV Drone, or the BLACK controller that is sold only by itself. The BLACK controller works with the DJI 01 and DJI 02 Air Unit as well as the CADDX VISTA and RUNCAM WASP digital systems. As for the DJI FPV Goggles, the FPV Goggles version 1 & 2 work with all the items above. The DJI 03 Air unit ONLY works with the DJI GREY FPV controller and DJI FPV GOGGLES 2 and Version 2.

Have you been able to get your hands on the new Emax Cinehawk? I’ve been doing a lot of research on some of these new cinewhoops with the O3 unit and I’m on the fence with a few of them, but I’ve had a TinyHawk 2 for a while and really enjoy it!
Yes, I had one but it had an issue with the flight controller so I had to send it back.

30 is great if you plan to add weight to it, also more noise than 20. 20 is great for buzzing around, but flight times are less.

Hey. You mention you have inserts for the goggles? I thought the goggles used allowed to in goggle adjustment. Is it because your prescription is outside of the range?
Yes. Rarely do people have the same prescription for each eye, unless of course they have a minor prescription.

I'm not used to seeing you bob up and down, is that down to the DJI controller? I wonder if you adjusted the screw to make the throttle loose? also did you tweak the rates in any way. Your internal tests are always so level, seeing this put me off a little as I wonder if I will be able to keep it level?

Hey man nice review..what is the highest mah that you can put to cinelog20...is it possible to fly it 8mins?? Or is it max at 5mins of flight
It has two inch props so that means you can't go to large of a battery due to weight. It is all a matter of give and take and there is a sweet spot. For 8 mins or more, you're probably looking at an 18650 battery setup if that is even possible.

Yes, all stock for me. The only difference is that I have prescription lenses in the eyepieces.

You can use your RADIOMASTER with ELRS and CROSSFIRE and FRSKY as long as you have the correct radio and your drone has the correct receiver
Which battery would you recommend for cinematic recordings with long flight times?
Batteries come in all shapes and weights. You want the most mAh in the battery with the least amount of weight. In the video I mention the battery I use so stay around the recommended mAh. Every brand of battery is a different weight so you’ll have to experiment.

Great review captain 👌👍 apart from DJI O3 system do you believe the dji fpv black remote controller has a better feel than the remote 2 controller? Can the black remote work with other PNP receiver cinelog digital versions such as Link with Runcam, Avatar, etc?
The DJI black remote has a better joystick movement feel. It works with all DJI O1 and O2 Air units as well as Caddx Vista units and a few Runcam Vista units.

DEFENDER is a future type FPV Drone with speed and interesting battery system. CINEBOT 20 is a tiny size drone. Your decision should be based on what size do you need.

Yes. I have used it in the last 5 FPV drone reviews with FPV drones using the DJI O3 system.

@@dronebirdun Good question. On a pro remote you set the failsafe in the model setup. On a basic remote, like the DJI remote, the failsafe is set when you bind, which is why you always bind with the throttle at zero.

I pulled the trigger and bought the DJI FPV and 3 batteries (because of you). Only other drone I owned is the mini 2 and I have to say FPV is FUN and I haven’t tried manual mode yet 😂.

Hello, I have a question about binding the Geprc Cinelog 20 with the Dji air unit o3. I have everything tied together but when I wanted to remove it all worked so the drone is not broken. However, it doesn't show me in beta when I move the gimmbels with the controller. what should i do now

Is the strap on your Goggles 2 the one that came with the original DJI Goggles? I need a better strap for my Goggles 2, they slip down and press on my ears.
I think I modified a strap that was for the Goggles version 2 (cut the top strap) and used it on my goggles 2
As cool as these are, the battery time is something I could never live with.
Same here I really wanted to get this, but the battery time is something I could never live with either. So I purchased the GEPRC Cinebot30 HD O3 FPV Drone in the 6S version with an 2.4G ELRS receiver, and so far soooo Gooood.
I own the cinebot30 O3 and get maybe 6-8min. 4min from this when his weather was that could seems pretty good 🤷♂️. My temps are at least 3 times higher to get my 6-8 min. Ordered the O3 cinelog20 during geps sale. I’ve seen punch outs and the cinelog 20 has the wobbles tuned out of it already vs the cinebot 30 which definitely doesn’t 😅, still trying to work on that fix. Love my cinebot 30 but love drones under 250grams even more since I’m in the USA.

Battery’s are cheap enough, just keep a few charged
Price is not okey because with battery and charger price comes up to DJI Avata Price, which comes with gimbal + battery + battery charger more and more.

The DJI 03 air unit seems to be a market leader in digital & was wondering what (if anything) offered similar performance (perhaps for less money) there is a Runcam system which seems similar.
I have various drones but my interest is coalescing around aerial photography, it seems to me that rather than having to mount a 'main' camera on top of the drone it is now becoming possible to use a single digital camera for navigation and photography which is especially useful in small drones where the weight of a GoPro or other camera is likely to be a problem.
@@pcka12 Oh, you wrote COMPETITIVE and I saw COMPATIBLE, hence my response. There are 3 players in the modern day digital market and they are DJI O3 system, WALKSNAIL Avatar system, HD ZERO system. Those are the competition to each other.

I've just bought a cinelog20, and first problem is my 650 4s battery is too big for the 150mm strap that's already in there. I've got a 200mm strap, but I can't get the 150mm strap out, let alone the other one in. It's super tight. Do I really have to take 20 screws off to take the carbon plate off so I can change a strap!?!?! What am I missing
Many of us just hook two straps together to make a long one. I'm sure you have resolved this issue by now.

DJI should make a VRX, like walksnail, independent of the goggles so that you can put the VRX on the car roof or on the car dash board and pilot the drone from inside your car with HDMI video feed. I can't watch the video while you suffer the cold frostbyte.
It seems all the newer smaller drones are carrying F4 controllers over the latest F7.
F4 vs F7 was a BIG deal 5 years ago because F4 meant slower processor. That is not the case in year 2022/2023. F4 has crazy fast processor that is super tuned.
