- Hi everyone! In today's video I'm sharing the new EASY winged eyeliner technique for hooded eyes that has literally changed my makeup life! I used to always avoid attempting a winged eyeliner (even thought I love how it looks) because I have hooded eyes UNTIL I discovered this technique! I'm showing you how to use a pencil to do winged eyeliner and eyeshadow too. If you have hooded eyes and struggle with creating a winged eyeliner, I hope this technique helps! Oh my GOODNESS! I have very hooded eyes, and I have never done a wing that I thought looked good...until today! Thank you so much for these tips. I can tell I'm going to be doing wings every day for a while. :)
Love this technique! I’m 40, and I had never been able to do a winged liner bcs of my hooded eyes. I just tried a few times and gave up. Then I decided i wanted to learn and every day when got up in the morning, I would wing my liner, even if I wasn’t going anywhere. ESPECIALLY when I wasn’t going anywhere. And I’d keep trying until they looked more or less even, redoing them as necessary and taking pics of how they looked open and closed. I tried different techniques too. It’s been 5 months and it’s not perfect bcs my eyes are hooded and uneven, but I’m getting there! I fee comfortable winging my eyeliner using different techniques and lengths and angles enough to go out in public and post pics on social media! I’m so happy.
If you’re learning, take the time to practice different techniques when you don’t have to worry about it looking good! Play with your makeup till you learn!

How do you prevent the shadow or eye liner from making an imprint so to speak on your lid? When I do it, it transfers no matter what i do. So annoying lol help ha great video
