Best advice ever, "look at your anatomy" yes. We are not all working with the same canvas lol. I never knew how to use that little smudger on the end of pencil liners lol.
So helpful!! And thank you for talking about your skin maturing and changing. It’s something I’m experiencing with my skin and it’s just so refreshing to hear someone else talking about it too!
Using eyeshadow as eyeliner has been my jammm lately! I’m so glad you included the cover girl eyeliner technique again. I purchased it solely because of your video, tried twice and failed each time 🙈 now I want to try it again.
Holy sh*t! Ive the black CoverGirl perfect point plus, sitting in a drawer and collecting dust and thanks to this tutorial, just NAILED a smudgy winged liner! Best wings I've ever done! (And by that I mean, every other attempt I've ever made with colourpop gel liner looked like holy hell) Thank you so much! I'ma rock this look nonstop thanks to you 😄
I am so happy to found you and your video. I have seen "plenty" of eyeliner videos and YOURS is the Absolute Best! I am in my late 50's and just watching you and your techniques, WOW! Game Changer for me! Now, I know I can do this! So, Thankyou so much!
Hello.. you just got a new subbie, I searched winged liner for beginners and this came up so I saved to watch later w a few others and I loved how you went abt everything very clear very easy to follow just very nice thank you for showing 3 ways instead of just 1.. I am a beginner even though I am 41 yrs old building my collection and learning subscribing to new beauty gurus.. thanks for your help
Love these tips! I never noticed I had hooded eyes until recently.. or thought I had them. Turns out it was from wearing eye cream at night and certain eyeshadow primers such as Nyx HD and Mac painterly pot. I stopped using primers and stopped wearing eye cream at night.. low and behold the hoods have gone! Apparently it’s something to do with eye cream travelling into your eye at night and making them puffy and hooded like. I’m no expert but worked for me!
I just use it in the day, or if I use it at night time I make sure it’s no where near my eyelids 👀 It’s made such a difference. Also those rose quartz rollers manage to de hood any morning puffiness
No matter how many tutorials i watch i can never ever get a good wing 🤣 I’ve tried so hard lol i even used the stamp but somehow some way they aren’t even or crooked lmao
Same girl, same. I’ve watched so many tutorials, different people’s styles of doing it and still end up with thick lines or wings going different directions 😂😂
Thank you for showing how to use the smudger on my pencil and finish that look. Best video I’ve seen on pencil liner and I’ve watched a million! This looks like something I can do and I like the smudged look. You’re awesome 👏 and a great teacher 👍
You are a LIFE SAVER OMG. I always started from my tip on my liquid brush liner and it would ALWAYS be so chunky!! Thank you SOSOSO much for telling me not to start at the end!!
Ohhhh thank you for this tutorial and showing the different ways to draw them in. So helpful and I will definitely practice using them. You make it look so easy.
This was very helpful bc I used to be the girl everyone knew as the perfect winged eyeliner back in high school and such. Years later, now that I'm a mom and life is just starting to make my skin mature and show more, I just lost my touch for a while and here I am watching this going dughhhhh lmao Your tips were so obvious and here I was lost and oblivious. Thank you so much for the tips, they were great!!
I have literally never been a fan of doing eyeliner on myself because they always come out like hairy doodoo and I do have hooded eyes as well, but your tips are actually really helpful and useful. I never thought to start connecting the rest of the liner a little below where the tip ends. So cool. Thank you!
I agree with you I have the worst time with winged I eyeliner. I’m the worst. Lol I like any video you do. They are always so helpful and your personality is awesome!!
I just bought the cover girl perfect point eyeliner in espresso tonight! Can’t wait to get this eyeliner trick a shot! I’ve seen you do this in another video and meant to buy it because she made it look so simple. So glad you made this video to remind me!🤗
I have watched you for hrs and to me your winged eye liner is the best by far it’s pretty, kinda easy and it’s not a step not a step that takes forever but it is so effective Thank You So Much, your so beautiful
My eyes are the queen of hooded eyes, had sagging skin down to the lash line since I was little, I'm 27 with my eyes looking way into their 80s, no joke! 😫 so eyeliner is a no, a nada, a never, a never ever for me! But of course I still come to watch just cause its you 😊 Xx
🤣🤣🤣 I had to re-watch the first 20 seconds bc I absolutely love how you burst out laughing after you said it was gonna be one of the most challenging videos. Love how genuine and funny you are!
I clicked so fast even tho I gave up on winged eyeliner like last year because I just can’t 😩 but I literally admire you steph! maybe I’ll try again after your tips tho ☺️
OMFG THANK TOU SOSOSOOSS MUCH IM GOING TO START JUNIOR YEAR ON MOMDAY AND I WAS TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO DO EYELINER (IT’S LITERALLY MY SECOND TIME) BEFORE SCHOOL AND I STARTED WITH MY LEFT EYE USING MY RIGHT HAND AND IT TURNED OUT AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCH 😭💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING LIFE I SUSCRIBED
THANK YOU so much for this video!! This just helped clarify ALOT of what I had been struggling with when trying to do a proper wing... especially the bit with the liquid liner. Ahhh just so much clarity 🙌🏽
I have really been on an eyeshadow as liner kick for awhile now. For like over a year now, actually. I really don’t even do winged liner much anymore I just use it along the lash line. I’m definitely going to have to start doing winged liner with it.
I was literally just thinking about how I need help doing winged liner because I've been unable to find a technique that works for me. Thank you so much!!!
Omg you did such a great job! I’m a mess with these but definitely have to keep practicing! Thanks for throwing it back to basics, I’m going to try the cover girl liner 💕
As you were doing the liquid one, I was wondering how you did the other side with your right hand. I always struggle there too lol. So glad you decided to show that side as well!
First of I wanted to say thank you for making this video. You made it so clear to understand! I used your first technique with the same pencil and color and it was so easy and turned out so good, wish I could show you haha you’re the best Steph!💕
omg this has helped me so much!!! girllll thank you. love thissss🥰🥰 i have been trying to figure out how to get that perfect point and you showed me exactly how to achieve it. this is a game changer for me!!
First off you are gorgeous. I have a very difficult time doing eyeliner, I’m just starting out into the makeup world but I prefer the liquid so imma give this a try. I hope that this technique works. Thank you very much. You did a wonderful job,
Omg Stephanie just a few days ago I was looking through your channel triyng to find how you do that perfect wing lol, so THANK YOU!!! Longggg time follower, love ya!
Hiya, I am a new subscriber. Risa talked about you and I made my way to your channel and I have watched quite a few of your videos and I have to say you are totally adorable. You shine through so sincerely, have a wicked sense of humour and I love to watch your content. I am detecting a bit of an accent, although I’m Canadian and people think I say “ aboot “ which we don’t. I mean maybe some ppl from the East Coast do.... I digress. My point is whatever your accent ( in my mind or not, very endearing). Sheesh, maybe one too many wine as I declutter my makeup and organize. Sum up - love your content. Be well 😀
Love this video!! Thank you!! My eyes have always been hooded but I'm 28 and noticing my skin around my eyes beginning to sag a little more too. Makes me feel better I'm not alone!!
I love this video. You should try the physicians formula eyeliner. The felt tip is super fine and easy to use for people like me who have hooded eyes and who can NOT do a wing. I think your followers would like it.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I’ve struggled all my life with eyeliners, but I love how detailed your video is, I will definitely be trying all 3 techniques! ♥️
This was my first time ever doing eye liner, and this was a great tutorial! It really helped me. But saying that it’s my first time doing liner, I really struggled but it didn’t turn out that bad! :D
Ok WING GIRL 👊🏼 Ive been practicing ever since your last video several months ago~ i think it was a GRWM and even bought the Espresso liner! Ive been doing a flick kinda thing ever since highschool( long time)🤔 A la Charlotte Tilbury....but YOUR wings are the best I’ve seen....i thought it just wasn’t working for me, but after your VID I’m a gonna keep trying😂🤣
Let me know if you guys like these basic how to videos! 🤷🏻♀️ I haven’t really done any
hi.i love these types of videos.thank u.ive been binge watching all your videos.
Love them. Can't move on unless we master the basics. Plus , I think everyone does even the basics just a tad different.
SMLx0 that was easy !!!! I did it !!!! Boom 💥!!! Thx 😊
Loved this video! I’ve been practicing before I get in the shower. It looks pretty good but wait till your 45 and have even more of a hooded eye ☹️
I loved this video, it helps me out a lot because I have hooded eyes and I am terrible at winged liner!!! All your examples came out so great!!!
Best advice ever, "look at your anatomy" yes. We are not all working with the same canvas lol. I never knew how to use that little smudger on the end of pencil liners lol.
I know it’s hard when we’re all different shapes/sizes! But hope it helped!
@@SMLx0 sure did
@@SMLx0 mhm
I was holding my breath when you did the liquid because I’m so used to holding mine when I do it 😂
😂 I usually do too
Eve me too!!🤣❤️
“It may be an extreme struggle, but... that is life.” Girl yes.
I legit heard none of what you said in this whole video because I was looking at your brows! I need a brow update video because I love them !
“I can’t say tip without being a 12yr old”😂 this was very helpful, as I also have hooded eyes and tend to struggle with my eyeliner!!
Same
I don't get it.... Can someone pls explain?
??
So helpful!! And thank you for talking about your skin maturing and changing. It’s something I’m experiencing with my skin and it’s just so refreshing to hear someone else talking about it too!
Using eyeshadow as eyeliner has been my jammm lately! I’m so glad you included the cover girl eyeliner technique again. I purchased it solely because of your video, tried twice and failed each time 🙈 now I want to try it again.
Yes give it another try!
I purchased it and tried it too. It looked awful when I tried 😂
Holy sh*t! Ive the black CoverGirl perfect point plus, sitting in a drawer and collecting dust and thanks to this tutorial, just NAILED a smudgy winged liner! Best wings I've ever done! (And by that I mean, every other attempt I've ever made with colourpop gel liner looked like holy hell)

Thank you for taking the time to film three different liner looks! My fav is the pencil with the smudge tool. I'm def going to buy that product!!
your hair is so rich and glossy! I love itttt! Thanks for the wing tips! 💜
Girl!! Your skin is amazing. No flaws. That's not fair. 😩😩

No matter how many tutorials i watch i can never ever get a good wing 🤣 I’ve tried so hard lol i even used the stamp but somehow some way they aren’t even or crooked lmao
Oh lord the stamp is the worst 😂😂
I use tape and that always helps me. You just have to make sure the tape is even on both sides and then the wing should be pretty even :)
SAME😩
For me is i get it good on one eye but the other one comes out uneven 💀
Same girl, same. I’ve watched so many tutorials, different people’s styles of doing it and still end up with thick lines or wings going different directions 😂😂
I love the smudge wing!! I need more practice at wing liner and lashes!
Thank you for showing how to use the smudger on my pencil and finish that look. Best video I’ve seen on pencil liner and I’ve watched a million! This looks like something I can do and I like the smudged look. You’re awesome 👏 and a great teacher 👍
