@@martinv1734 i cant wait until the 2.7 inline 4 cylinder turbo goes into the camaro. Its already in the CT4 cadillac. 325 hp 380 ft lbs. The 2.0T 1LE already does 0-60 in 5.2 seconds at 275 hp and 295 ft lbs thats a 50 hp and 85 ft lb increase. With the new 10 speed automatic itll be in the low 4 second range.

As a big Ford Fan i wish the owner a lot of fun and take good care of it!
First off, beautifully done exterior. Everything is quality exterior and performance wise. And I've got to say... I've got a mk7 golf r with a stage two APR tune and full bolt-ons, yet it does not pick up like this car does. I'm actually very jealous of how this car goes through the lower gears. Absolutely immediate torque and power.
I love it.... And yeah the sound isn't good because you can't make a turbo 4 sound really good.
My mk5 golf gti is more faster than this focus😂...only with 300hp...but is a beautiful car...nice ford😉
@@ruiverissimo9549 your MK5 GTI is front wheel drive. Even with a stage 2 tune with bolt ons giving you 300 HP, the RS has 350 HP, launch control and AWD. If we're talking about faster from a dig, then a stock Focus RS should pretty easily take you 0-60 or in the 1/4 mile.
I'm only saying this because I had the same car as yours with about 300 HP and it's impossible to put the power down off the line, and we're spinning the wheels all the way through second while the RS is already way ahead because of its launch control and AWD system, which the GTI had neither.
By the time our Wheels finally hook up, the focus is already gone. That's the problem with putting all that power into a FWD car, unless we're talking about some of the newer options like Civic Type R and it's sophisticated launch control and front E-LSD systems, which we didn't have on our MK5 or MK6 GTIs.
However if you're saying that your MK5 GTI is putting down 300+ HP at the wheels, and you've gone stage 3 with a Turbo upgrade, with a DCT, then yes if we're talking about a roll race I can see the MK5 GTI pulling on the Focus RS. But not if it's stock Turbo, and not if it's a drag race.
Also if you were doing a roll race, it would have to be at minimum in third gear at around 50 mph and you would still probably get some wheel spin, but they would hook up pretty quick.
However trying to start from second gear in a roll race and he will fly by while you're struggling for grip all through second gear and part of third.
I'm not saying this as speculation, I'm saying it from experience. I'm not sure how many Focus RS you have raced, but like I said if you are pushing 300 HP at the wheels and you guys are doing a highway pull at higher speeds then yes you will be faster than him and pull away from him.
@@ruiverissimo9549 I will also add that I absolutely love with my MK5 GTI, especially weighing only 3,100 lb, it feels a lot quicker than 200 hp, with fantastic German engineering and refinement, and was the biggest step forward for the GTI compared to the Mark 4 which was terrible.

I love the Focus in general. No, they may not be the fastest, or the easiest to work on, but the money you put in them would be well worth it since they are also reliable.

Me too, it's a lovely car, but when tuned turns into beast!I tuned mine ST to 325hp and my 0-100km/h is about 4.5-5sec when dry.
Also top speed is 280km/h on speedometer
Same here only have a 2013 focus ST since I cant afford a rs 😆 but its still pretty dam fast with 94 octain it does 0 to 60 in 5.6sec

You are supposed to flat shift from 1st to 2nd gear in the MK3 Focus RS while using launch control, that’s mapped in the ecu from factory, you will then see closer to Ford’s claimed 0.60.....

Lovely. The RS was out of my price range, so i settled for an amazing stock ST mk3.5 which tops out at 260km/h :)
I would expect this RS to reach close to 290 with that tune n all..
unfortunately the gearing won't allow it if you noticed 6.3k rpm on a 6.5k at 262 redline some builders have built them with 8k redline that should hit 290 300.
It's not about top speed but how fast it gets there, you might have a similar top speed but it'll beat you getting there no problem.

It's fantastic. It's been on the dyno 2 months ago and it has 400hp and 640nm. It was in fwd mode on the dyno. Difference between stock RS and this one is huge. The torque difference is massive.

I have nothing with Ford at all, but this one actually looks awesome!

You can flat foot shift from first to second when using launch control. That let's you get much closer to that 4.7 second 0-100 time Ford claims because you don't lose boost when shifting. It takes some getting used to not lifting your foot from the accelerator pedal. If you can shift fast enough 4.7 is doable.

Those cars are nifty. But I know a guy on the west side (Detroit) that has an old Festiva (not Fiesta). It so fast the drag strip said he had to have roll bars. It sounds like a Cessna 152.

I've got the Mustang EcoBoost with the same engine. It's got cvf intercooler, cobb drop-in filter, ngk 6510 step colder plugs, borla atak axleback and it's pro-tuned by PD tuning! I'm only on my base map of 93 oct so I haven't recieved any revisions yet nor have we started tuning for e30 yet.

I'm surprised the tune doesn't have launch control always on. Also, you should try flat-foot shifting from 1-2 if using the Ford LC. (also surprised the tune doesn't have FFS set). Very very nice RS.

Steeringwheel and shiftknob is from SS Tuning. I like the RS Steeringwheel but there is an even cooler one. It has the shiftlights on the top and I think that this would've fitted even better to this car
That is my Favorite Hot Hatch.
Love this guy. He's not a Male Attention-Hoooar, like most of the other car channels that even points the camera at their own faces while they're driving (like that goofy Doug guy). This guy's all about the cars. Most of us want to see these cars going down the road, even if it's just through the windshield view.
