Your guess is actually pretty close to how much recording I actually did! (see description for an actual total). There was a bit more gameplay that wasn't recorded, and that wasn't put into the total (I only looked at total video duration), but yeah.

This totally has some kinda god vibe going on, the world was empty except for the base elements of the universe, then from it this man shaped everything, it grew and became this enormous "garden" we see now. Perhaphs the reason why God forbidded Adam and Eve to ever touch his tree was because it was from that very tree the universe was born and it held immense sentimental value to him. Also to have such an amazing and large world built by his own very hands and not a soul to share it with. Imagine all the time he spent alone building everythig.

Now I know I'm a little late to comment, but i just found the video when I was searching around TH-cam. One thing I had wondered was what he had used as a food source before he had the wheat, had he just killed himself when he got to a starving point or did he have food? But never mind that. When I clicked on the video I wasn't to sure what to expect other than a time lapse of a challenge map. But I don't know what I was that intrigued me so much, but I just sat there and was entranced by it. All he had done and what he made and how all with limited resources. It was truly amazing and not to mention, the lack of resources didn't limit his creativity. It just makes it that much more fun to see what someone can do with a great deal less materials. He did this better that I would have and I didn't know where the time had gone. It was around 11:30 when I started and it felt like five minutes had passed but instead almost half an hour. I truly enjoyed this video and I just want to thank you LazerLord, have a good day and keep on playing and finding those new ways to bring people in and entice them. :D

Well, playing a game for ~50 hours over the course of 1.5 years isn't that hard. I would play for an hour or two on the weekends and over school breaks, and that's about it.
Conrad Tardis Eh, I mainly just didn't forget about the project and managed to keep it running until I thought it was done. There were times I didn't play for 2 months, but I managed to keep it going. Setting a deadline helped.
I you have a Keyboard with a Numpad you can set the break button for example to num1 then you press this button and deactivate the numpad while pressing the button then it continues farming cobble
Idk why, but in continuously drawn to this video. Its just such a good time-lapse, no obnoxious commentary, just good music and great game play. I just started getting into skyblock and am gonna try 4 pillar probably tomorrow or something :p.
This is quite old so if you don't respond I understand. I didn't see it listed in the FAQ so I have to ask, is there any paticular reason it took a year and a half or was the map just that slow going?
I mainly just didn't spend a large percentage of my life doing it. It was probably about 50 hours of work total (without the editing), but I wouldn't work on it continuously. I started it a really long time ago, and there were periods where I just wouldn't do anything for a month or so. I'd add this to the FAQ, but I can't make the description any larger!
+LazerLord10 I am the same way, I've played a few skyblock based maps and will take random breaks for large amounts of time. So 10 hours of work becomes a whole month lol

Well, playing a game for ~50 hours over the course of 1.5 years isn't that hard. I would play for an hour or two on the weekends and over school breaks, and that's about it.

Eh, I mainly just didn't forget about the project and managed to keep it running until I thought it was done. There were times I didn't play for 2 months, but I managed to keep it going. Setting a deadline helped.

I you have a Keyboard with a Numpad you can set the break button for example to num1 then you press this button and deactivate the numpad while pressing the button then it continues farming cobble

Idk why, but in continuously drawn to this video. Its just such a good time-lapse, no obnoxious commentary, just good music and great game play. I just started getting into skyblock and am gonna try 4 pillar probably tomorrow or something :p.
This is quite old so if you don't respond I understand. I didn't see it listed in the FAQ so I have to ask, is there any paticular reason it took a year and a half or was the map just that slow going?
I mainly just didn't spend a large percentage of my life doing it. It was probably about 50 hours of work total (without the editing), but I wouldn't work on it continuously. I started it a really long time ago, and there were periods where I just wouldn't do anything for a month or so. I'd add this to the FAQ, but I can't make the description any larger!

TH-cam is a hobby for me, and I've been really busy with IRL stuff, but I do have more videos planned for the near future. They aren't gaming, but they should still be pretty good. Nothing on the scale of this video, though, because this one took me one and a half years to complete.
