I feel like this is the kind of video people revisit years down the road when you’re designing for games or tv/movies and they find that you’ve always been very impressive.

@@Thoka_ that literally doesn't make sense like how would that even work? he's using worldedit and sure it helps, but he still has to manually form the terrain, build the buildings then copy/paste them into place, on top of detailing everything. I've done the same but on a waaaayyyyyy smaller scale lmao

During the end showcase, he inserted more tropical sounds when showing the main castle with the surrounding forest. I got the impression that this is in a region close to the equator 🤷♂️

I even did the math.. 500 hours = almost exactly 3 weeks. that amounts to 1,800,000 seconds. I would like to know the exact block count, but it seems to me like there is atleast 1mil blocks there accounting for overall time spent mis-placing/correcting blocks. Not only can I agree that this is legit, but I can only fathom the dedication required to fulfill this Goliath aspiration. Well done sir.
Made me realize how genius WoW Vanilla was, in every aspect. They had that "epic medieval" music never running while not being in a city, and that is something i just came to appreciate, because it was done here. This certainly would make amazing artwork for an MMORPG.

That's a huge amount of work, and it looks mind-blowing. These bridges, arches, towers, the entire architecture is really cool! I like to model some castles or churches in 3D, I struggled to make a church by using elements from different styles of architecture. But this guy made an ENTIRE medieval kingdom by his own, and I have no words how it does look amazing, fascinating...

ive built mansions, castles, cities, undeground cities, nothing ive built comes remotely close to this, my friend. u are truly one hell of a master builder. my longest project was the underground city, took me a little over 100 hours, i took three caverns (each one was connected to the others) that i found randomly and turned it into the city, i had absolutely everything for every single occasion (enchanting, portals, etc) u make my work look like childs play. i think u should put this up for a world purchase thru the minecraft store, id love to see that.

Absolutely amazing build! How about a series on tutorials with the tools you use for your builds? Like - what brushes, when to use what, how to create terrain like this, tips and tricks on buildings (rotations, etc) Just seeing the terrain makes me want to learn more :D

Absolute masterpiece, I'm trying to become a builder, but I don't think that I'll ever come to this level of dedication. If I had one comment to make, I think those towers on the main island are a bit too cubic, other than that, I just love those angled constructions. Continue your work, those 500 hours are totally worth the result (in my opinion)
I don't know if this will mean anything but here we go. I always love watching similar videos like this, they're always so much fun seeing such an amazing city be born right in front of our eyes; though, I have noticed just one thing about builds like these, and it's that the sizes of the farms and the number of farms compared to the number of houses doesn't look like it's enough too feed so many people. granted cities aren't meant to grow its own food, I'm aware of this, I'm only pointing this out cause sense there are farms here, then it most likely means they're growing their own food. So, if I had the capability to build something like this, I'd try to create a more understandable food course for the city.
