- This Minecraft let's play will be what made Minecraft on TH-cam great. It's just simple a Minecraft let's play. You can watch me play Minecraft survival in episodic format where I just... play. I cannot push myself any longer to make giant projects every weekend or every episode, just so the thumbnail looks crazy. I am not saying I won't have any big projects in this series, but what I do end up doing will be at my own pace. I think this is gonna be amazing, a new mindset, and at my own pace. Some episodes may have a ton of content, others may not. Some episodes may be 5 minutes and some may be 10 hours... who knows? You will just have to watch and find out :-)

I can’t even explain how ECSTATIC I am for this series!!! I kinda (no hate love them) got really bored of the hardcore series. Hope this series lasts for quite some time!

Hell yeah, I’m excited for this. Everything nowadays is just “100 days in hardcore” or “hardcore ep 1”. Glad to see just a regular vanilla survival series again.
I absolutely love this OG style of let's play! I feel like most new Minecraft videos are over doing it with all the editing and post commentaries and crazy builds that get jammed into a single episode...
Personally I think going through the survival journey every step of the way is much more enjoyable and authentic. Great job Neo, I'm looking forward to the next episodes :)

This makes me so happy. I didn't dislike the other recent series, but they just weren't as enjoyable - to me - because I'm a really vanilla player in general. I love longer, more relaxing Minecraft series where there's no pressure to have crazy builds every episode, and no constant threat of dying and losing the world. I do like the hardcore series, but I'll always prefer plain vanilla survival. The world in a jar thing was interesting, and I even downloaded it myself to try it out and it was fun. But it felt like I lost interest in it fairly quickly once the novelty wore off - not just on your series but in my own playthrough of it. Once I had visited every jar, I just kind of lost interest in general. But a classic vanilla survival world, that can keep me interested for a crazy amount of time. I'm probably in the minority on that, but...whatever lol.
The most important thing - and I always say this - is for Neo to be doing whatever makes him happiest. If this brings back that excitement that's all that matters!
i agree with the crazy builds, like why are you spending like 30-100 hours on a single build when just playing the game will probably be enough for some people

The base started looking awesome from the beginning, but I was left absolutely speechless when you did the interior. It looks amazing! I always love your bases. They're the coolest.
The magma blocks give off such a cozy vibe too, especially in the upper floor, it's like they're a modern fireplace. And I have a soft spot for aquariums, so I fell in love with the little kelp idea. The leaves also make it seem fresh and relaxing.
I really can't wait to see more! Your videos are always very enjoyable to watch, so I hope that you'll find the joy in making them too.
I’m loving this!!! The OG let’s play with the quarry is what hooked me on your videos and this definitely has the same vibes. It would take you 4 episodes to do a build stuff, which was reasonable. It gave people reason to tune in the next day. Cannot wait for episode 100.

I think this is going to be a beautiful project, imagine making path in all those shattered caves and when you move out to an open area you have a beautiful build to welcome you. You need to go with that alpha vibe here, it is going to be legendary

I'm glad you're enjoying the terrain. Broken and weird terrain with floating islands in the sky is a Bedrock thing. Now that Mojang is pushing parity between Bedrock and Java on seed generation you get to enjoy this as well.
The interior of the house is pretty dang good . As you are in survival no fear of dieing and loosing the world anymore . It opens the doors of adding more creativity in your builds . Looking forward to see more wonders like this from you 😊

I always like to put light blocks behind my chests in my storage room, either glowstone or sea lanterns. Now that we have frog lights I can't wait to see how that looks. Really wish they would put in dyeable glowstone.

This seed is super cool!! That's what I love the most about this game, you can always be surprised by something. Just like the time where I spend months in the same valley just building my house and a village, a chill game, and I realised that I was just above the stronghold this whole time 🤣

Finally, a normal (not hardcore) Minecraft series, no offense to the hardcore tho I love them! But we kinda got bored of losing every world 😅, I CANT EXPLAIN HOW MUCH IM SO EXCITED!
You should consider making a house out of spruce wood with polished deepslate, it looks really good.
already in love with this series, a few build suggestions is that you can try using the new packed mud and packed mud bricks along with the new mangrove wood to break out from the oak wood+ cobble stone combination

This series is great! I haven't been watching your videos since few years ago after that 129-ep survival LP ended and I just came upon this video. Hardcores are cool, but a slow paced and chill survival series is just perfection.
idk why but this just brought me back to the first time i watched you and it seems like u genuinely enjoy playing this series not saying u didnt enjoy the other vids but it just seems like this and skyblock actually excite you and u dont have the stress of dying and losing the world

Lee, a little hack my dad taught me for gutter cleaning? Use a spaghetti spoon; the slotted, kind of toothed ones? It'll scoop up all the crud, but drain out any water to go down the flowpipes. It's a weird trick, but it works.
I really like the new start of a new world and I also like how the video is a bit longer then the other ones you've recently put out for us to watch.
So glad to see the let's plays back. I love watching you play. And sometimes five have 2 hours to watch the live. But love that too

Hey Neo, this starter base is probably my favorite starter base that you've created so far! I do have a suggestion though, maybe take away the stair pillars that lead to the chest room and switch them out with leaves? Also, maybe switch out the fence upstairs for trapdoors, spruce trapdoors to be exact! Much love man! This build definitely is getting me back to want to play og Minecraft again!

From someone who only bought and started playing Minecraft in April 2022, it's nice to see a series showing someone else playing a survival world.
If you like interesting seeds, I found a great one. Use "drogna" (minus the quotes) as your seed and there are some amazing caverns, cliffs and if you venture a way west you'll find three villages within a few hundred blocks of each other. If you are on the latest 1.19 your spawn point (0,y,0) is roughly in the centre of three deep dark ancient cities too.
This standart survival i missing so much. Now is so much hardore letsplays and this is great ;-) Thanks

Also, the chest room on the other side of the chests you could tunnel over to the main part of the mountain and make a room there that leads into a mine and have extensions off of that that lead to a dock or a forge room. Just some ideas is all
