He met her in minecraft and they rigged a ComputerCraft modded server to smart stuff to run their IRL house (and the robot nanny)on Luke's questionable redstone skills.
3:56 There is another way to get wood in the badlands. It's less efficent than just mining it from a mine but it works. You have to find a wandering trader, which sells moss blocks. Then you have to buy the moss block, place it in a cave and bone meal it. It should create more moss blocks and azeala bushes. Then you collect all the azealea bushes, plant them on dirt and bone meal them. They should grow into whole azealea trees. This way you can get oak wood in the badlands.
@@BeingLolaStar that's true, but with the buffet world gen only one biome spawns, so the badlands plateaus wouldnt spawn since they are technically a different biome
I'm actually so impressed by that base especially considering how the other builds in this series are. Maybe it's because the badlands palette is really coherent, just a few terracotta colors and red (orange) sand blocks which go together really well.

this was probably the most humble empire ltn made. the villagers weren't suffering (too much) the villagers had value, and the entire empire was from the dirt up.
Commenting bc this video deserves to do well. You can really see how much Luke’s minecraft skills have improved from his first 100 days to now, it’s honestly amazing
I hadn't played minecraft for a long time so I'm just barely getting back into it and the first file I decided to make with the newest update, I spawned in the frickin badlands and it was huge too so I was super annoyed and on top of that had no idea what was going on and where all the wood was lol. This playthrough was so entertaining to see, I learned so much and Luke is so creative and dedicated for doing this project
I just tried exactly this challenge (blindly, I didn't watch any videos about it until now later) in my Minecraft world. I've watched the video only couple minutes (multiple Minecraft days anyway) and I must say I'm surprised how you struggled with food. I figured out pretty quickly that fishing is the best and easiest way to get food (until you get (golden) carrots that is. But to be fair I played on easy, I'm not sure if they even can drop carrots on easy.) Anyway, there's spider spawners, webs and sticks literally everywhere. Like, it's calling you to do some fishing, lol. Also, that's nice way to at least TRY to get some nice enchantments from it too. Even mending books! You'll get a lot of fish for doing that as a bonus. Anyway, I really like this challenge, badlands is pretty optimal challenge to do, not insane hard but especially start can be a bit tricky. There's isn't any villages, trees or animals, but once you figure these problems out it becomes almost easy. It's so fun to think ways to survive in different environments.
Man, Luke is treating us to really early Christmas gifts this year, a new 100 days alongside 3,000… This man is truly the most Notable man to walk the planet…
Honesty that terracotta house with the red, orange, and yellow looks you did to your base looks phenomenal. Really like the badlands landscape. Good video dude!
The terracotta pattern reminded me of homes you'd find in Mexico and such, you probably meant something like that. But if you continue this series, it would be so cool to see you build an entire village like that, all your villagers having a house like in glass town
As someone who's fort/home is on the border between the badlands and the desert (stretching more onto the badlands but right next to a village that I help often) this is definitely inspiring lmao. Badlands is by far one of my favourite places to go due to how apocalyptic it looks
@@preacherofmusic Very interesting, what got me into settlement building was two or so years ago when my friend invited me to his world and he made a pretty nice medieval styled fortress in the snowy biome with his villagers, honestly without villagers (for me at least) the game definitely feels a lot more empty and I do like how it turns into a game-changing situation where you rarely need to go underground as after awhile if you have a farm and levelled up villagers you can just get it easy enough lol.
@@preacherofmusic Nah I get that, I just like it because I can live my knightly fort defense fantasy lmao (and to be fair I'd rather pick that and building up my settlements over spending hours upon hours underground lmao

to me the bright colors of badlands just is an appealing aesthetic sometimes. not to mention their terracotta is useful for builds sometimes. I used one to construct a coastal village 100 blocks away from one.
This was such a great watch!! Would love to see 200 days in this series later this year, and if you're looking to do more 100 Days, I'd love to see 100 days with only Ocean Biomes!! Hardcore would be a doozy for that one lol

This man just finished doing 3000 days and already hopped back on the 100 days train. Dedicated, motivated, and dropping absolute bangers every time. Truly Notable.
I like this one. It's a nice balance between the incredible danger of the end or the nether, and the relative safeness of the caves or original 100 days. I also enjoyed the problems with food and wood, as it's not really a problem people usually have to deal with. Good video. Also, I can't wait for the 100 days next week. :)
ikr!? making a campfire could make it a bit easier since you wouldn't need to use fuel to cook the fish, plus its a mini landmark also if you use bonemeal on dirt it'll give you seeds and you can start a wheat farm that way
In these kinds of videos, the delivery of the narration is the main attraction, so the longer the video lasts the better. The video just gives the viewer something to look at while they listen as well as act as visual association for relative dialogue. Doesn't even matter what game it is.
So I know someone has probably told you already since this video is two months old but I always had the same problem with my iron farms stopping production after a while and I finally figured out it’s because the villagers need to sleep eventually, so building an on/off switch that just hides the zombies from the villagers so they can sleep when it’s not in use is a solution that has worked ever since for me
I adore this content so much, such a chill sort of vibe to listen to while driving. One thing I’d love to see Luke tackle are like some modpack series. Just beets for thoughts
Pretty amazing how, upon starting the world it's an absolute struggle to get the necessities we take for granted in Minecraft, but by Day 40, you're growing your own village and have a steady food supply on top of that.
I know this video has 6.3 million views and you most likely won't see this but you randomly popped up in my head and it brought back memories of me watching you on the first days of your hardcore series, glad I can feel this feeling again, it feels special
I would also like to see Luke try to do Stony Shores for 100 days. From my research the only overworld biome harder than Badlands is Stony Shores. No trees, no villages, no animals, no shipwrecks or treasure, and it's extremely risky to find wood and it is a finite resource. I haven't finished testing to see if the stronghold spawns, but it's a nice wasteland simulator.
Hmm I think you could get saplings from the wandering trader, wich would make wood renewable... definitely a grind waiting for him... chickens can be obtained via chicken jockeys, at least I think.. the jockey chickens need to be nametaged tho.. I think mushroom island is harder in terms of thinks you can do... there is no mob spawning, therefore no villagers and no emeralds (no foxes, no mountains) if I remember correctly mineshafts don't generate in the mushroom biome, so no looting either. (Surviving 100 days in mushroom island should still be easy as there are no mobs coming for you... killing mushroom cows for food and wait 100 days
Ok I actually REALLY LIKE where this is going!!!! This world is super unique and I hope you decide to do another 100 on this world- even though you don’t tend to continue these side worlds
I dated an aiden for a year and a half and had a disappointing fling with a Hunter so this vid is very therapeutic for me. I come back to rewatch them be bred and kept as slaves.
Okay, you should add the homes from your separate 100 days (Nether, End, Caves, Badlands, and future ones) to your 4000 days, it'd look AMAZING, especially your terracotta statue in this one. Also, try Ocean, Desert, Tundra, etc. for other 100 day videos.
this video is giving me a little inspiration for my own base thats in a massive badlands area. I have access to some trees though, as well as some nearby desert and grass so it wont be the exact same, but i really really like what you did with the full badlands look!
He spends so much time making these videos and he does such a great job on it. Thanks Luke. (Also, during the stream did you say hi to "The Notable Floatable Head?")
22:30 "then i was back in the fortress doing exactly what I was cancelled for" what, killing black people??? 💀💀💀 THIS IS A JOKE, don't send me death threats

I know this one was a little tortuous for you, but it was honestly hilarious and fascinating watching the growth on this project. I enjoyed it, and like putting it on as a rewatch in the background lol

“Like most men, my first step this morning was to get wood.” Well played, Luke. Well played.
oh I didn't notice that XD
He already called you on the quote too lol
Lol
This was easily one of my favorite videos you have ever made. I love that its so wholesome at the end. Thank you for what you do and never stop.
I honestly didn’t know the spawn chunks were always loaded until now, didn’t expect to learn from this video
I know this video has 6.3 million views and you most likely won't see this but you randomly popped up in my head and it brought back memories of me watching you on the first days of your hardcore series, glad I can feel this feeling again, it feels special
Oh my you it’s god!
I'm surprised how Luke went 20 days without a wall. Also, how he keeps saying "here's an advertisement." One of the best channels on TH-cam
It must have been one of the inters playing for those days
He should make an 100 days without a wall

Thanks for curing my zombified self luke!
I Edited My Comment Because Autocorrect Spelled Zombified As "Zombi field" What Even IS Zombi Field?
Ok I actually REALLY LIKE where this is going!!!! This world is super unique and I hope you decide to do another 100 on this world- even though you don’t tend to continue these side worlds
12:01 "I'll let you ponder that for one bit while I play an advertisement"
LEGIT AN AD POPPED UP RIGHT AS YOU SAID THAT
Creators can place ads throughout the video
I didn't get an ad
same
That was the point
Perfect timing tho
I dated an aiden for a year and a half and had a disappointing fling with a Hunter so this vid is very therapeutic for me. I come back to rewatch them be bred and kept as slaves.
I saw u on twitter
Hah
Keep up the good work luke love all the content❤❤❤❤❤
I was just amazed that Luke didnt go crazy when he found ancient debris 12:01
Luke: “I’m gonna try to use blocks only from the badlands.”
Also Luke: only has access to blocks in the badlands.
He also had nether and end blocks

It was so cool to see Luke thenotable come out to my home state. Amazing to see people playing in California finally!
I'd really like to see this series continue. Kinda interesting.
This is actually a great idea
We need 100 days in the Deep Dark. The world needs it.
Deep dark would be cool. Ocean would be great.
Others I’m not too sure about. Jungle could be fun.
this video is giving me a little inspiration for my own base thats in a massive badlands area. I have access to some trees though, as well as some nearby desert and grass so it wont be the exact same, but i really really like what you did with the full badlands look!
He spends so much time making these videos and he does such a great job on it. Thanks Luke. (Also, during the stream did you say hi to "The Notable Floatable Head?")
you're cringe
22:30 "then i was back in the fortress doing exactly what I was cancelled for"
what, killing black people??? 💀💀💀
THIS IS A JOKE, don't send me death threats
why did he get canceled for real though?

I love the delivery of this line

i like the fact that he made over 10 times what he wanted in the first 5 minutes, it just seems so incredibly hilarious
I just uploaded my first 100 days survival, it turned out epic and if you could check it out would mean the world to me!

Definitely my most favorite secondary series besides you and Tors. After you do 10k days whenever that happens I would love for you to do this one next.

I know this one was a little tortuous for you, but it was honestly hilarious and fascinating watching the growth on this project. I enjoyed it, and like putting it on as a rewatch in the background lol

I think it looks ok it's not that bad
My absolute favourite thing to do is put on your 100 days videos while I try my own hand at hardcore. Thanks for the inspiration! Love your videos so much
