- In today's video we show the AirBnb that we stayed in for over two winter months in Antalya Turkey, as well as share our monthly cost of living for groceries, restaurants, parking, as well as a furnished long term rental apartment option. The city of Antalya is a bustling beach city of 2,500,000, which is a popular tourist destination, as well as a year round favorite Expat location. The average US Retiree on Social Security receives $1,550 a month, and a couple on Social Security receives over $2,500 a month. A US Expat living on Social Security can expect a great cost of living in Turkey when compared to the living costs in the US.

We are actually it again as I type. Season and stay length may have an impact. We are in 40 days this time but went directly to the owner for our second stay since he knows us now.

What you like the most of Antalya?
As mentioned an Airbnb monthly rental will run 2-4 times the cost of a regular rental depending on the season. Something equivalent to this high end property would guess would probably run $750 a month long term in this location. We also showed another property for long term lease not an Airbnb for $427, a bit smaller with not as high end furniture.

Another thing, how can you compare Turkey to your Ecuador experience. Turkey beats anywhere hands down. Ecuador does not come close to be compared to Turkey.
