It's 7 new promos, but 8 promos total, because the Trickerion promo is a reprint of the long out of print Secret Workshop. And yeah, the funding goal is high, but because it's a real goal... If I get even 101%, I'm sorted, but with anything less the printing becomes not very economical.
17:40 The neoprene mats for TM: The Dice Game are for people who wish to use the 3D tiles from the original Terraforming Mars. The tiles that come with the dice game are 9mm smaller. As of 10/12 they added a standard sized mat. Price is the same for either: $25.
In the case of Leaf you missed the part where stretch goals won't be included in retail versions of the game while they are free for both Standard and Deluxe pledges, meaning this might still make the Standard edition worth backing.

No crowdfunding project run in USD will atm hold its value if backed from a non-USD country due to the conversion rates lately being through the roof compared to 2-3 months ago. No point in backing any campaign run in USD if you have to pay an extra 50% due to that and then VAT on top of that. It's just crazy expensive. Hope things go back to normal when it is time for late pledges.

The new Graphic Novel Adventures campaign is for the children's series of books including, as you mentioned, The Crusoe Crew and The Baker Street Irregulars. There have been 3 series/seasons (so far) of graphic novel adventure books NOT specifically targeted toward children. (I hesitate to say they are for "adults" because of what could be read into that terminology.)
When you do a KS update when you do your “Back not to back” videos next week check on Redwood. They will be coming out with a new deluxe pledge where you get the $140 big box but without all the add ons for around $100 vs $140 I believe a lot of people requested that

I absolutely loved the 911 operator video game so I backed the boardgame campaign despite the same red flag of semi co-op. After I backed it I asked if they were developing a pure co-op mode / variant and it sounds like they are so I'm happy to have backed at that early pledge level.

One of the current Kickstarter campaigns that I was hoping you would cover is “Materia Prima - The Inquisition.” I love the art and theme (alchemists) and the gameplay looks interesting for the people that I game with.
Nope… It doesn’t have that mechanism… You are basically rolling dice, trying to get the icon cost of your card(s), in order to build them - and you can build cards which give you more dice. There are different color dice each color with different icon sets. The dice are composed of 3 common icons, 2 uncommon icons and 1 rare icon.
Heroscape made the mistake of not making a smaller core box which can then be added to with expansions. People can swallow a 150 core box with a couple of 50 dollar expansions. But 250 up front with shipping is a huge ask. Also no painted figures? What were they thinking? Its also leaning heavily into its sci fi theme when most play it like a high fantasy game. Its like they looked at their extremely successful Hero Quest Campaign and did the complete opposite. It smells of large corporation typical blundering. "Hey we have a success. Ok lets re-invent it and see if we can make more." Instead of re-package at affordable price to take advantage of new efficient manufacturing tech and expand later. Its a shame that Heroscape will be killed because of a large cooperate blunder. I still have it in my cart but I'm having such a hard time pulling the trigger on it.
Couldn’t agree more. Why did they take no cues from a successful Heroquest relaunch? Very frustrating. But shipping is actually included in the cost for the US.
You need to talk to whoever can fix the way to keep your place when you look at a game so it doesn’t put you back at the beginning of the game list so you have to swipe down to get back where you were it’s quite frustrating and turns me off from wanting to browse the list

I did a $1 pledge for Kings of Ruin (loving the introduction of standees, too) but yes, there is SOOOO much content for this game.

We recently picked up The Spill and totally agree with it being a good pick for those that enjoy "pandemic style" games.
