Love the 50g, excellent machine. Have you considered a mulching head for it? They’re pricy but for large property it’ll pay for itself in one season of not having to pay a contractor to come and dig them out, that’ll also help you with reducing the frequency of it needing to be done. And you shouldn’t regret buying it, it’s the one machine you’ll have more uses for than you’d think. It’s a really rugged machine and the way you maintain your equipment it’ll last a very long time. Anything smaller and you’d have the devil of a time using some powered implements.

My 50G has been an awesome machine too ! Can move it with a 3/4 ton truck and 7 ton trailer. Anything larger would require bigger truck and trailer to move with ease

Well I’ve always heard that called a Hershey bar first I’ve ever heard it called a butter bar.
I have a 35G open station with a thumb and three or four different buckets.
Along with a large 160 with a hydraulic thumb, purchased it from an oil field company that was going out of business here in East Texas and it only had 900 hours on it. That’s been about four years ago. Zero problems. Great machine.
Also, when you mentioned yours being naturally, aspirated, turbos are probably less than 1% of a downtime issue.
The great thing about smaller engines with turbos is fuel consumption.
I have a John Deere 5065, which is a 2019 model, it was replaced the next year with a 5063 or I may have those numbers backwards anyhow, when is a turbo one is not The non-turbo almost drinks twice as much fuel due to its larger displacement, engine, and running it in the hayfield 10 hours a day makes a big difference at the end of the year.
In the agricultural world you’re not going to get a big six cylinder in a John Deere any longer unless it is 230 horse or above.
They’ve all went to large four cylinders, some with compound turbo’s

Another great cheaper attachment for your mini is a “mop pipe” just a useful tool to keep around!

Bigger is always better if you can afford it.

You have a nice property. How many acres do you have? I’d make a bigger/deeper pond and stock it with fish.

My mini has an open structure. The price was right compared to the cabbed counterpart. I took the larger, open machine over the cabbed, smaller machine. If I were to buy another one, it would be a larger, cabbed unit.

Dont pay attention to specs on John deere website, says 10,600 lbs. With long arm , counter weight, angle blade, this machine is just under 13000 lbs. I own 35g and 50g . Nice to have both
