I really enjoyed this video. I was born in Regent Park when Riverdale Farm was the Toronto zoo. Eventually the current zoo opened and was always one of my favorite places in Toronto to visit. Because of its influence, I became a volunteer for several years, got a BSc in Environmental Sciences at UofT, and eventually moved to Costa Rica where I worked to help rehab injured animals, and where I still live. Toronto Zoo is a magical, inspiring place for Torontonians, and an important global contributor to the protection of endangered and threatened animals and environments around the world.
