started listening to bucket almost 2 months ago ,nothing else, 8 to 12 hours a da y. can't stop, why would I even want to, nothing else matters!!!!!!!!!! .im 58,my brother was playing beechboys in the bars, on weekends when I was eleven. like you, herd it all. about up to about 2005. gave up on rap rock, don't like it. it was such a coincidence, was trying to find some thing newer to listen to for about 2 weeks. was listening to Floyd and bucket came up on auto play, there was no turning back

they said beethoven was great same with alot of other old guys form the past, but we dont live in the past we live now, Buckethead deserves twice as much credit, he is not just a musician but an artist. The music he makes and the skill behind it is something nobody that lived ever have done before. Youre amazing Buckethead and im greatful for every tone you play !
I have only been listening to Buckethead for a week and I'm hooked. Unbelievable musicianship and production. he's a creative genius. No one comes close. Everyone talks about Vai, Satch, Gilbert, Tosin and other virtuosos but they really do pale in comparison. I rarely hear bad music from him, and his catalogue is MASSIVE! How lucky are we to experience this!!! There's so much emotion in his music and you can listen to it over and over again and experience something different each time. I will be purchasing his stuff for sure, No more free downloads for me.

True. But it seems they write what comes from the heart anyway. Their stuff is hardly 'radio friendly' as it is. The sheer volume of stuff Bucky has put out and how good it is, puts him in god status for me. Incredible. A lifetime of listening pleasure.
I have been discovering Buckethead, as of late. Had always kind of written him off as a shredder, without really knowing anything about him. Recently, someone posted a video for Soothsayer to Facebook, and after listening to a bunch more stuff on TH-cam and I can honestly say that I can't name a single musician or performer out there with zero ulterior motives, who so purely does it for the love of music as our wonderful Buckethead! His brilliance/madness makes every thing he touches just outstanding. These pikes are a collective musical masterpiece and raise the bar to dizzying heights!

I think there are conduits from other dimensions and realms that flow through Buckethead and his instruments. Either way, one thing is for certain, Buckethead is a genius.

these pikes have been great for practicing to. If you are stuck in a rut with your playing BH is great for showing different ways to make the most out of a simple progression. Because he tends to certain keys and likes using certain shapes with his scale patterns it makes for excellent learning. Whenever I need inspiration I always come back to his pikes
i dont go through his pikes/albums and anaylize and judge them like im his guitar teacher or he's on a guitar talent contest with people telling him where he's going wrong, what he should do, why did he do this and why did he do that, yeah, a lot of people just judge and anaylize him like they're marking an exam, what!!!!!!!!!! leave him to release what he whats and when he wants, do what style he wants, what album/pike he wants to do, tour when he wants, have a break when he wants and just let him do what he wants to and when he wants to it, just leave him be, like i am
