Why didn't they add those weird fish Giants in the dlc of Bloodborne? Those things are IMPOSSIBLE, especially when you try to fight both in the well for the rakuyo.
I managed to beat them by not locking onto them with the burial blade managed to do some bonus damage by hitting them in the face, was still a challenge though
Sullyvahn's Beasts are too easy to be bosses (then again so are like the first 9 bosses in DS3). Bleed or fire annihilates them, and if you can riposte them you win. They do high damage and have decent health, but they can be downed too fast. Theyre good as minibosses.
Starchie Halo No like 3 bleed weapon hits or like a charged up big strength weapon hit on the snout or a good pyromancy and theyre ready to be riposted and beaten. I don't think they'd be good bosses if they could be beaten like that!

It depends on the build. If you have high skill, a classy Threaded Cane and a blunderbuss he only takes 17 bullets and 2 or 3 vials. Turns out, he loves to receive Visceral attacks when you get close enough and spam L2.
Didnt find tallboys all that bad, the thunderjaw in the cauldron gave me a headache though, but i think it was the confined space that made that suck, out in the world they arent as bad
OverlordRainbow once you beat a few thunderjaws they get dead easy you just knock off the launchers use them to destroy the face cannons and tail then finish them off with some bombs or the other launcher and 2 corrupted thunderjaws are bosses

The chryssalids are brutal. There was a map that came with one of the expansions full of them. I lost my best team. Only one made it out of that mission. I continued though as that map was freaking difficult
I find chryssalids suuuper easy to fight, mostly because IIRC they are the only enemy that does not drop weapon fragments ---> they are the only enemy I rocket laucher. :/ Also, by the time Site Recon popped up, I had 6 SHIVs w/ levitation capabilities...

Gage Santana Tanks can suck, but with four of you its very do-able, in L4D2 a bile bomb on the tank works wonders, Demolishers, just gotta pay attention, Deathclaws you just need good gear.
I just got done fighting an army of Deathclaws on Fallout New Vegas like a few minutes ago. I used Esther with a metric fuck-ton of Tiny-Tots mini nukes and a few Big Kid nukes. Those fuckers are relentless. They got me a few times before I just said "Fuck it" and called in a Strafing run with my UFO. Yep... UFO. Just imagine an Ultramarine with a fat man and a UFO that shoots giant fucking Ion cannons just busting in and blowing up every god damn thing within a 100 mile radius.

While it's true that Regenerators from RE4 take a massive amount of damage to kill, this list failed to explain that you can acquire an infrared scope that allows you to kill the Regenerators with laughable ease.

The regenerator from Resi 4 doesn't deserve to be a boss. All you need is a shotgun with a little more distance then usual or get the Thermal scope for one of your snipers.
doom 2 has a enemy like this called the arch vile leave him alive and the previously dead enemys are now no longer in a area with a moderately large area with little cover? have fun with his limitless range explosive hitscan attack
Juggernaught on warframe i mean he is a mini boss but still not boss but he has everything : tanky , cc , 1 shot move wich hits through walls a dash even at a very low lvl like 30 he can be devastating then at a level like 100 he sure becomes hard to kill due to his high dmg and hp pool/ armour scaling there are couple easy ways to kill him tho like valkyr/mesa . But at least he is a better boss than phorid .
Also another example, Lynels, they're EASY to kill, it just takes patience, and it is a boss if a "mini-boss" counts...I laughed when he came out with that
Halo 5's hunters have another trait that really make them mini-bosses - its not that their melee attacks deal a lot of damage (they always did) but that their melee attacks are sped up roughly 5 times from previous games.
I'd like to add the Witch-Brides from Serious Sam: BFE to this list; they have all the classic boss cliches (absurdly high bealth bar, unblockable attacks, one of which lifts you into the air and renders you virtually immobile, teleport to random locations after taking a few hits, periods of invulnerability...) but often are used as mere combat support for other lesser enemies.
librarians from metro 2033 are basically bullet sponging minibosses that depending on difficulty one to two hit kill you, and you fight up to three at a time and at one point about 7 in a row, they also take about 25 shotgun shells each and are all fought in cramped spaces.
What about those bug bodyguards in Res4? The one you fight by itself in a narrow corridor as it attacks from the ceiling is insane and one of the scariest encounters in the game. It can survive an RPG at point blank and take zero damage
regenerators/iron maidens scared me so much XD the panting... and music X_X The easy way to kill them though: Shotgun a leg off so they fall, rush over to them and keep slashing at them with the knife until they die.

Hunters finally became bosses in Halo 5, especially in War Zone.
I would have chosen iron maidens over regenerators. regenerators aren't that bad once you know how to kill them aka thermal scope.

Halo 5's hunters have another trait that really make them mini-bosses - its not that their melee attacks deal a lot of damage (they always did) but that their melee attacks are sped up roughly 5 times from previous games.
Whoever took those 70p screenshots for the bayonetta one deserves a promotion

Why is Marlboro on this list when you used the ff15 footage where it was a boss?
I'd like to add the Witch-Brides from Serious Sam: BFE to this list; they have all the classic boss cliches (absurdly high bealth bar, unblockable attacks, one of which lifts you into the air and renders you virtually immobile, teleport to random locations after taking a few hits, periods of invulnerability...) but often are used as mere combat support for other lesser enemies.
A toss up between "Bloody Crow of Cainhurst" or the Shark brothers in the Old Hunters DLC guarding the Rakuyo in Bloodborne.
Pretty much every Big Daddy from Bioshock 1 & 2 is its own little boss.
The anchor wielding shark giants in bloodborne need a spot here.

so you're telling me I took my name from an enemy in MGS? I actually didn't know that.
librarians from metro 2033 are basically bullet sponging minibosses that depending on difficulty one to two hit kill you, and you fight up to three at a time and at one point about 7 in a row, they also take about 25 shotgun shells each and are all fought in cramped spaces.
You know who deserves boss status that didn't? The Hyulkontons from Wild ARMs 2. Those are some nasty enemies.
Those dang Threshers... Terramorphous' fire form especially.
in hl2 ep 2 finding out the hunters are killed instantly by your car was a life saver.

You forgot to mention that Banshees are resistant to headshots. This makes it much harder to kill them if you are used to aiming for the head.

What about those bug bodyguards in Res4? The one you fight by itself in a narrow corridor as it attacks from the ceiling is insane and one of the scariest encounters in the game. It can survive an RPG at point blank and take zero damage
regenerators/iron maidens scared me so much XD the panting... and music X_X The easy way to kill them though: Shotgun a leg off so they fall, rush over to them and keep slashing at them with the knife until they die.
