There's probably better alternatives for Premiere though as it is a bit pricey so I hesitate to recommend it. Software wise, I like what it gives you to work with and the UI, but yeah the price is a hard sell. I wish you luck on your own youtube journey
Excellent ranking my brother. FFX is my top ff game aswell followed by FFVII, then VIII, then IX. IX was so great until the final boss reveal, him coming from another planet, man that was dumb ass pull imo, yes its worst than the entire party of VIII being raised in the same orphanage. Also, completely agree XVI is dead last place, followed by XIII haha.

Given the popular theory about people's first and favorite FF entry, I was pleasantly surprised by your #1 pick. If I had to leave out the first one I ever played (6), it would definitely be my #1 as well
The only mainline Final Fantasy games I have not played are XI, XII, XIV, and XVI. I'm probably never going to play the two mmos because well, they are mmos. lol I own XII on the PS4 and will play it at some point. XVI just doesn't look appealing to me, so who knows. Maybe I will play it one day. Totally agree with you about preferring turn based combat. The argument that it is dated just doesn't make any sense because look at all of the other turn based rpgs that are still releasing today. I honestly think Final Fantasy would benefit from going back to that while also adopting more of an anime art style instead of the ultra realistic graphics. It's always nice to see someone speak highly of II, III, V. I consider them to be the forgotten Final Fantasy games because most people have either never played them, dismiss them because they are "old," or in II's case, complain about the combat system. I love them all and consider II to be the best of NES games and V to be the best of the SNES games. Wow, it's very interesting to see XV so high because I know many people aren't very fond of that one. I didn't play it at launch and instead played the Royal Edition with all of the dlc and enjoyed it as well. After recently replaying VI, yup, it really is one of the greatest games ever made. I'm not not the biggest fan of VII. I always thought VIII and IX were better than it and am one of the crazies who likes Remake more (haven't played Rebirth yet). Final Fantasy X is not only my favorite Final Fantasy game, but my favorite game of all time. My top two Final Fantasy games are X and VIII. FF2 escaped bottom 3!? That's a 1st 😂 I absolutely hated XV. Worst combat in the series, so many characters that didn't get enough screen time and the worst pacing in series. The party and how they interact with the world was arguably the best. Another issue with 15 tho is the giant & empty world full of gas stations & hunter camps unfortunately with only 2 cities/towns
XV is amazing, and its also a disaster. Its the most ambitious Final Fantasy game, and its got chunks missing and eventually the extra DLC got cancelled.
I got surprise at how low you ranked FF 14, which for me is -alongside FF 6-the best FF, they are just tiered for the first place. But I understood a lot better when you explained that you dropped off on Realm Reborn. While A Realm Reborn is not bad story and characterwise , it does not really start to shine until the end of ARR and the beginning of Heavensward. Heavensward was basically the reason why I ended purchasing the entire game and its up to date, my favorite FF. I strongly encourage to push through ARR and up to finish Endwalker

Remake is a joke, You put Nomura in charge and he put the whispers in an FF game, you know he uses that plot device in Kingdom hearts right... There was a time when Final Fantasy was the measuring stick by which all other rpg's were judged. That time is long past and they have become a soulless corporate entity like Ubisoft, but if you were there in the beginning, you remember what they used to be, one of the greatest game studios ever to exist.
I didn't play any of 14's expansions. I only played the ARR content then kinda fell off the game as I said in the video. I did mention that I heard the expansions were very good, but I can't see myself ever getting around to them as MMOs are just not really my kind of thing
@ The first question I should probably ask is: Did you play Final Fantasy XVI through to the end? I’m not talking about watching the game online or playing only a portion of it. I don’t mean to come across as condescending, but to say it fails at everything is pretty bold. Does Final Fantasy XVI fail to produce spectacle? Did it fail to produce good voice acting? Did it fail to tell a complete story the way XV did? Does it fail to provide exploration the way that XIII did? I think you might be being a bit hyperbolic.
I hate 16 so much. You’re getting a like just for that. Kinda weird to spend 1/3 runtime on the worst in the series when there are so many better games that you could gush about! Different list overall, nice to hear some refreshing takes on a few of these games.
