It's the players not the coaches. They did the same thing strategy wise last year and we went 13-0 in the regular season. If anyone should go i think it's the DC. The play calling has consistently been off with defending teams.
This year the entire offensive staff can go... The next season is an audition for the DC. I think 1-2 defensive staff positions will change this offseason as well.
Fire the OC!! So many question on how the hell we got to this point in the program. Is it poor recruiting? Poor development? Poor coaching? All of the above? Two things are certain: 1. the OL is not smart. Smart lineman recognize schemes and know who to block. 2. The WRs cannot execute on game day. That includes route running, getting separation and securing a catch.
Go back and watch the game or watch the Miami game coming up. The QB snap count is very perdictable to the point that it gives the defense a distinct advantage. The QB will clap a couple times wait a couple seconds and clapp twice and the wait 3 seconds and clap again to have the ball snapped. If I was a defense I would key on the last clap and get a jump on the offensive line. That is why FSU has so many QB sacks. Your are right the OC needs to go along with the line coach.
What you don’t want is for fsu to eat all these contracts to bring in new coaches, just to be in the same situation next year. Next years team isn’t doing anything either. With the way the 2025 class is getting gutted. The actual talent either going to the draft or transferring out…

I mean when Jimbo had superstars on both sides of the team we were undefeated. We had our back ups in after halftime and we won a national championship win. Mike had a superstar team. We struggled throughout the season if it wasn’t for Jordan Travis, we would’ve lost a couple games and we got left out of the playoff.

Oir defense isnt terrible. They've kept them in every game besides SMU. If recievers could catch and we not turn the ball over 3 plays in a row and if DJ never came we'd be better off. Yes we need changes on offense

Sadly most of the staff has to go. Norvell may get another year, but he won’t get two with a product like this. I really wanted Mike to succeed and for the last three years, he seemed to do just that. But this is a massive failure unseen in my lifetime as a Nole fan. 31 years I’ve followed this team n at our worst I’d never seen a team this inept, this incapable of doing the basics. A lot must change or we’ll be hiring a new HC after next season. Damn shame

Willie had a better team coming out of much worse conditions. And he had a much shorter leash. There’s no reason, none, to keep Norvell. This program is going nowhere with him in charge.
Norvell has created a culture of losing. This was first exposed when they were left out of the CFP finals. Everybody on that team bailed. As long as the good times were rolling, everybody was in. When the tough times hit, there was no character in that program. Georgia had a better case to be upset about being g left out, yet they did not fall apart and hung together because Kirby built his program with character kids. Not portal mercenaries. If one player on your team goes down and the team falls apart. You've got a real problem. The problems at FSU are alot deeper than a few coaches.
You sure he knows what the standard is? I can't tell cause he hasn't addressed his poor HS recruiting from day 1 till now. You call him smart, what smart HC wouldn't realize the roster would crater with poor HS recruiting for 5 years? The fans knew this in year 2. Maybe he is smart but arrogance blinds him.
