Great review been looking at both in that price range. Bought the Razer Deathadder Essential after trying instore. Finger joints are more relaxed after years of trying to get used to a much smaller Corsair Harpoon mouse. Deathadder is also a joy to use for hrs in general scrolling, web browsing for my hand size.
had also Harpoon, now G305 all too small as I have larger hand. Looking for budget LARGER mouses and think will go with this. V2 costs me 10€ more, should I go with it instead?
Terrible luck with the G203s. First one - left mouse button started glitching after 4-5 months. New replacement was worse... messed up straight out of the box. I have given up... Looking for a replacement. I use it for vector drawing (this is mild use!) That Razer is in my price range. Small... but... I don't think I will mind. I normally draw with my thumb and pinky on the mouse mat.
To be honest it’s all down to preference and terrible is a massive overstatement, the faults you mention with the death adder essential you won’t even feel if your not a mouse enthusiast
so I want to share my experience with my G102(203). I bought this mouse 1 month ago, and it only costs me 17$(i live in SE Asia). So this is the only mouse that suits my budget(under 20$). I was also interested in the Redragon M711 Cobra, but the sensor is worse than the G102, so I just bought the G102 instead. Personally, I don't like the shape of the G102, but I don't hate it either. I have 18.5 cm long hands, and I use a claw grip for this mouse, which is reasonably comfortable, but unfortunately, I can't use this mouse for longer than 2 hours, so I need to take a short break after that. The clicks feel so nice, but the right-click is a little bit lighter than the left. In Geometry Dash, especially in difficult levels, this mouse really satisfies me, the clicks feels light and accurate. Now, I will talk about the double-click issue. This issue usually happens if I raise my finger before clicking. Also, if I click in the corner of the mouse, the double click issue will most likely to happen. Fortunately, this issue only occurs when I raise my finger before clicking, clicking in the corner of the mouse, and with a medium force. I love this mouse, although I'm planning to buy a Redragon M711 FPS(upgraded version of the cobra I mentioned earlier), viper mini, or the Rexus daxa air(an alternative to Model D since it's not available in my country), 1-2 years from now. Ok, I hope you enjoy my 5 paragraph long comment about the Logitech G102/203. Sorry for making the comment to long, I'm bad at making things short and simple :P Edit: i bought the viper mini, other than the L&R clicks, the viper mini is superior in every way

Bought the G102 and G103 (alternate name for G203 in Asian market) what can I tell is the switch durability is really bad. Only lasted for 6 months for each mice and my left click started to double click. I mostly play DotA which mostly require right click and never drop the mices to the ground at all. Now I'm considering to buy the Essential as the replacement and wondering will the durability be better than the G203 or not.
any update bro? did you buy the essential? Coz even I had the G102 twice, each time the left click lasted for 5-6 months then started double clicking :(

Dude it has a greater weight than logitech's mouse. Obviously you need to put some pressure. And the braided cable is without doubt better. No wonder your channel's not growing.
That might be the case, but Razer mouses in general are overhyped and overpriced ever since they were came to existence. Even Razer claims that the Essential is more like a casual gamer mouse and even the spects are not that impressive. The only reason the Essential is relevant, is because it was made by Razer. Slap another random brand name on that mouse and no one will give a damn about it. Other than that, there are plenty of mouses in the 40$-50$ price range that are much better options. I've had an older version of the Deathadder in the past and while the mouse was great, it wasn't as good as I expected from the great and mighty Razer. After a little more than 2 years later my Deathadder became unusable and I have no plans of ever buying another Razer mouse ever again. Even my cheap 8$ Logitech B100 lasted a lot longer than my Razer. I also disagree about the braided cable. I've had a lot of issues with mine, because it was always attached to something and after a while it was torn a part and I had to cut it in half.
I had a g102 prodigy as a daily for 3 years I beat the hell out of it dropped it more than a few times My nephew also used it alot The right click just started to double click so i did get a new mouse For less than 20$ i guess thats not too bad Solid budget gaming mouse However if you have extra cash id go wireless g304/305
